In a nutshell, this product more than earns it's keep. I've had to advise a couple of people not to clean or reuse the filters, it won't work and will no doubt make things worse. Please also don't use a hepa vacuum to clean either filters as it'll release a flurry of dirt particles and defeat the object. Excellent item! The 5*****!

But are expensive imho, had trouble getting these earlier in the year due to brexit, so had to make do with the existing ones, soon as these came they were fitted and the difference in air quality was wonderful, but they need to be at least a fiver cheaper.

Bought this as a replacement for the old filter, loved the multipack format, as this carbon filter needs to be changed every 3 months, so one box will do for one year (while the hepa layer only needs a to be changed once a year). Fast delivery. Happy with this purchase.

This Fellowes carbon filter seems to be very effective. I've just replaced the carbon filter in my DX55 Air Purifier after the warning LED came on. The old filter had been in use for just under 3 months, with the purifier running almost 24/7 throughout that period. There was a lot of foreign matter attached to the old filter, so it had been working well. It certainly results in a fresher atmosphere.I would recommend using genuine Fellowes' filters. The carbon ones come in packs of 4, so they should last for about a year if changed at 3-monthly intervals.

These filters are the original ones for the fellows air purifier , it's important these are charged as the air purifier becomes less effective ,these filters are for getting rid of smells etc , the fellows air purifier also has a HEPA filter which helps people with allergies (HEPA filter take away the tiny particles in the air ) these need to be changed but not as often

These are just basic & plain carbon filters - same as those found in some cooker hoods but these are so much more costly so one just pays extra for the branding

Good to have, especially in the winter when the house is closed up, however, given the frequency they need to be changed I things these are very expensive.

Great value for money. One of the main reasons I got the DX95 was due to the cheaper running costs.This is OEM Fellows carbon filter. Not another brand and it fits perfectly. It is the carbon filter but it's also the prefilter too. This is the one that gets rid of odors.You get 4 in a pack. Each one sealed with instructions. Great value for money as it suggests you change the filter every 3 months this is a years supply.
