I asked chat GTP what the best facial oil was and this one came up. I have very dry skin at the grand age of 42 and my make up looked cakey and horrible. This is an absolute lifesaver, got rid of my dry skin, was great for the dry patches too and after two days my skin felt amazing. Makeup looks so much nicer on too. What a great product for the money.

THIS!! I rarely gush about products but this was the missing piece to the puzzle of inner dryness my skin suffered. I bought moisturizers, but they did not seem to work, always felt like they left an impenetratable layer on my face. After using this for a couple months, my skin has been able to retain moisture, moisturizers sink in, and I only use occasionally now as it seemed to have solved a problem. I also switched my cleansers too which helped considerably. No breakouts, just supple skin.

So far, so good, use it with a skin balm, use 2 drops then the balm, so far feels like a nice routine. Ive never really had a routine but im not getting any younger, Anyway, all good!

I've found this product a bit of a life saver when it comes to my dry sensitive skin. It does look a bit greasy so I tend to only use it at night when my skin is feeling really dry or looks irritated. I tend to use a little on top of moisturiser to help seal it in rather than just on it's own but would say it's really helped. Definitely has saved my skin from harsh effects of cold weather and central heating over the winter season. Would highly recommend if you have dry sensitive skin. A little bit more expensive than buying in store is my only complaint but other than that excellent product!

Had big expectations for this product, having read glowing online reviews here and elsewhere. I have used Squalane for a week and unfortunately discovered that it has been the cause of new breakouts of my face. Further research led me to the discovery that certain types of skin are simply more sensitive to the ingredient. I would recommend patch testing with this. I applied it at night, and I can vouch for its moisturizing power, as my skin was fairly hydrated the following morning. However, I personally did not like the consistency of this. It does not absorb completely, rather it has a tendency to sit on the skin, as noted by other reviewers. I have repurposed it for lip hydration but will altogether avoid application on the rest of my face. All in all, I would not repurchase.

Great item. If your skin barrier is ruined from using 7392 different products from brands who are actually not trying to fix your skin, use this. It’s very gentle and natural. Good price too.

Me ha sorprendido para bien, solo me lo he aplicado una vez y ya noto la hidratacion, no es nada graso y te deja el cutis como la seda, tengo que decir que previamente me había exfoliado. Repetiré sin duda.

ch habe mir das Squalane-Serum von The Ordinary ursprünglich nicht für die Gesichtspflege gekauft, sondern wegen eines sehr trockenen, schuppigen Haaransatzes (vor allem vorne an der Stirn), der sich in den Wintermonaten stark verschlimmert hat. Ich massiere seitdem morgens und abends jeweils 2 Tropfen direkt in den Haaransatz ein. Trotz sehr dünnem Haar fetten die Haare überhaupt nicht – das war mir besonders wichtig. Bereits nach ca. 3 Tagen waren die Schuppen verschwunden und die Kopfhaut fühlt sich deutlich beruhigter und angenehmer an. Mittlerweile nutze ich das Serum zusätzlich für das gesamte Gesicht (meist abends). Die Haut ist extrem weich, gut durchfeuchtet und fühlt sich gepflegt an, ohne zu glänzen oder schwer zu wirken. Ich hatte bislang keinerlei Hautreaktionen. Was mir außerdem positiv auffällt: sehr ergiebig (man braucht wirklich nur wenige Tropfen) geruchsneutral zieht gut ein vielseitig einsetzbar (Haare, Kopfhaut, Gesicht) Für mich ein überraschend vielseitiges Produkt, das besonders bei trockener Haut und Kopfhaut in der kalten Jahreszeit überzeugt. Ich werde es definitiv nachkaufen.
