My son was thrilled with his own music box! This one, especially, as it plays his "FAVORITE hymn!" Who knew? If you are considering a 1st Communion gift, do not discount the idea that a boy would enjoy a music box as much as a girl. This one is sweet without being girly. Has a space inside for special items (he put his new Rosary beads in there and a miraculous medal). And you can switch out the image of the boy praying with a photo of your own, if you wish.Again, a really solid & lovely (handsome) gift for a young person.

This company has products of good quality overall, however, the music box player is terrible. I ordered 3 Girls/Boy Distressed Black Music Box, and to my surprise 2 arrived with damaged music box player. No quality assessment here. This company have good future if they take care of fixing the music box player on these items and take care of checking product for functionability before they ship them out to customers.
