We have never used harnesses on our dogs but our trainer made us get these for our large breed puppies. WINNER! We and they love them. Much better control than a collar, much kinder to the dog, Well made and very well worth the money.

Although the front-loaded harnesses are certainly the best for leash training, the material of this brand has proven a little stiff. Our puppy is more likely to drag behind sniffing or sitting than she is to rush ahead, so the harness ends up rubbing under her arms when the leash is pulled forward. This has actually worn away some of the fur, and now she has a distinct aversion to wearing it. More padding might be preferable if your dog is like ours.

Works better than any other type of harness, lead, or collar on preventing pulling. And does not cause discomfort!

dogs still pull with it, but it helps a bit.

easily adjustable with clear directions

This dog harness didn't work the way it was suppose to for my dog. The leash is suppose to hook in the front but Daisy kept getting the leash under her belly and that caused her to stumble. So I set it aside, but found myself in need of a harness a couple weeks ago. After looking at it for awhile I decided to put it on her backwards - so the leash attaches on her back just like her old harness. It works like a charm. It is lighter and easier for her to wear and no more getting tangled in the leash.

I love this harness! It is easy to put on and it keeps my dog from pulling. I have more control.
