How Insanely-Cool are these?!
These are just awesome. I've been a Hot Wheels fan forever, and I especially love the different track sets. I grew up with the original Sizzlers and as usual, Mattel led the way with toy innovation, even back then. I love standard die cast Hot Wheels cars, but when you have more control over racing, I'm there! I loved the NFC cars - they had so much potential, and they should have evolved the app more, but now they're discontinued, like many sets before it. Another favorite was the 3 lane racing set that actually plugged into the way (no batteries), but that's long gone off the market. Now we have these 1/64 RC cars that are absolutely cool. They are fast as heck, and require some skill to make turns, and spinouts, but that's the beauty - mastering the control. They're easy to charge, and hold up very well to some non-intentional crashes. The BEST thing about these RC cars? They run not only freely on hard floors, but they can race around standard orange track, and even old sizzler wide track if you happen to have any still hanging around. One stick is for forward/back, and the other stick is for turning - plus, you have turning trim buttons for fine tuning.Hitting the boost before a loop is quite satisfying, but better slow down on those tight corners! I hope to see more cars coming in 2023/24? My kids love these! Right after homework, it's right to the RC cars and experimenting with different layouts. The cars come with an entrance (or exit) track so you can go off or on track at your command. Bravo Mattel - more more more! Now my kids are experiencing Gen z Sizzlers, but with actual control!

Long battery. Sturdy. Quick. Fun!
I asked for this for myself (a young adult man) for Christmas and am super happy with it. I could see some people complaining about how touchy the controls would be for children, but with a little bit of training you can have so much fun! I would think 7+ would be ok.I don't do Hot Wheels at all, so I just use this as a small RC car. Long battery life (I haven't had it run out yet, probably 20+). Pretty sturdy (dropped it from at least a few feet without issue). It's super zippy, which is just what you want with a micro RC. It has a built in trim that works super well for adjusting, if something ever gets wrapped around a wheel or something.

Very Fast for a Hot Wheels car
I had an Adventure Force RC car. I liked it because it had head/tail lights. I modified Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars to fit it. It was fun but SLOW. This Hot Wheels RC car is FAST! 500 scale H/P! Twin engine and a NOS or TURBO button? It's fun inside and outside the house. It works on ALL the hot wheels tracks and jumps. And , the USB charging equipment has you up and running in about 15-20 min. The cars are bullet proof. I own the Batman, Dodge, and Hummer versions.

Great car toy
I bought this to play with my cat more easily. Instead of endlessly flinging a feather around on a fishing wire I can let the cat case this little car around while I control it from the couch. I know it’s made to ‘drift’ so I understand why the wheels have very little traction, but for my use case I wish they had a tiny bit more.

Awesome self powered Hot Wheel
This little remote control car is awesome. It charges from a cord provided that works off of your phone charger. It’s not a traditional remote control car because it steers by spinning the rear wheels in different directions but it’s perfect for smooth floors and to use on hot wheel tracks. The way it steers makes it easy to spin out and do stunts and considering the amount of fun that a little kid can have with this is underrated. The fact that you can use it on the hot wheel track and it’s self-propelled so you don’t have to have these booster units that cost about $35-$40 a piece just to keep gravity moving the car along. The track is awesome. It’s faster than any boost unit. And I only paid 15.00 so I can literally buy two of these for the cost of one boost unit and they will propel themselves around any size track even if it’s 100 feet long. And then, if you don’t want to set up the track, you just put it on a smooth floor and do all kinds of stunts, build ramps with cardboard whatever you want to do … they are just too much fun for a little kid and for the little kids grandpa..lol smiles are worth the 15.00 even if they break at some point. Hasn’t happened yet. Keeps your dogs away because mind freak out over these things, and one chomp will break it. At that point, I will absolutely buy two more.

Cool toy but there is a short or something
It is a fun toy for a while but then there is a short or something ( not really sure what) where it goes crazy and starts driving where it wants . I have had my child give me the controller and still goes on while I am holding the controller ( not pushing any buttons) the only remedy is to turn it off. My child has only driven off - track ( like a regular RC car) so I can't say if it happens when you drive on the Hot Wheels track. It works like normal once you wait a little while and turn it back on but it will happen again after using for 5 to 10 minutes. I am pretty sure that there is something wrong with the one I got since it will also decide not to work at points and my child will hand the controller to me and it works again after a moment.

Nice, fun, fair playtime / charging time
Nice modrl, fuun to drive on the tracks, runs fast. Without the track it depend on the surface, it moves but you font have much control off tracks. All in all great value, rivive the interest in our old hot wheels tracks, my kid loves it.

Breaks
This little car is zippy & fun but it breaks. We ordered one & the back wheel stopped spinning so the car only went in circles. We got a replacement & the second car did the same thing. Such a bummer because it could be a fun toy, but it’s not worth it.
