Excellent card game that you can play over and over again!

I challenge you to play this game without it getting competitive!! It was introduced to us by a friend and we immediately loved it and bought all three colours for when friends come round. It isn't just about speed, and there are a range of tactics that can be employed to win the game, including tactically slowing down your opponents. It very much reminds me of the card game 'slam' i played at college, but you can play with up to 12 players. Super. We've not tried more than a 5 player game yet - i can imagine a large volume of people playing at once would result in the game almost splitting off into smaller groups, as it would be difficult to reach all of the cards laid in the middle. I'm not sure this would necessarily be a bad thing though.

I played this game with German relatives. It is a great fun game for 'in between' because it is quick to set up and is played at a fast and furious pace with much laughing, screeching and grabbing. Everybody plays at their own pace, laying down cards and adding cards to piles (a bit like patience; you have to form piles in order of 1, 2, 3, 4, and so forth). As soon as the first person has managed to lay down all their cards, they shout 'Ligretto' and everybody else groans. Then you begin again! So it can be played in ten minutes in between or stretched out to last a whole evening, depending on the level of addiction. One box in colour red, green or yellow allows for 2-4 players. You can then add the other boxes to play with more people, all the way up to 12. The children, aged 8-15, especially loved this game and played it obsessively night after night.

We played this game with bar manager on holidays in Lanzarote and absolutely loved it. Bought it for my husband for Christmas and the whole family is crazy for it. It’s so much fun and so easy to learn. Definitely recommend anyone who wants to do have fun and enjoy family game nights.

A fun game to play with family and fully extendable with add on packs if you have more players. Very easy to learn. My 9 year old picked up the rules very quickly.

Ligretto Rouge est un excellent jeu de cartes qui met à l’épreuve la rapidité et la réflexion. Les règles sont simples à comprendre, mais le jeu devient vite très dynamique et compétitif, ce qui garantit de super moments en famille ou entre amis. Accessible dès 6 ans, il convient aussi bien aux enfants qu’aux adultes, et l’ambiance devient vite électrique autour de la table ! 😆 Petit format pratique, idéal pour l’emporter partout. Ich habe zuerst Ligretto Blau gekauft. Das Spiel ist so gut, sowohl für die Kinder als auch für Erwachsene. Für Familientreffen oder mit Freunde spielen. Das Spiel ist lustig, fordert volle Konzentration. Ja, die Runde ist kurz, aber das macht nichts. Da ein Box nur für vier Spieler ist, habe ich Ligretto Red bestellt, um mehr Leute spielen können. Aber man muss unbedingt achten, dass die Boxen andere Farben haben.

Das Spiel ist simpel und schnell erklärt, es ist was für jung und alt zugleich, auch wenn es hier auf Konzentration und Schnelligkeit ankommt. Was auch super ist, dass man bis zu 3 solcher Spiele (Rotes- Grünes- und Blaues Spiel) miteinander kombinieren kann und somit die Anzahl der Mitspieler zu erhöhen! Der Preis von unter 10 Euro ist auch völlig in Ordnung! Es ist ein kleiner handlicher Karton und perfekt für den Urlaub zum mitnehmen. Die Spielzeit pro Runde ist meist maximal 5 Minuten (inklusive Punkte zählen).
