Perfect Indoor Planter Solution
Review: The Lechuza CUBE Color 14 Self Watering Planter has been a game-changer for my indoor plants. The small flower pot is not only aesthetically pleasing with its sleek design, but its self-watering feature has made plant care so much easier. The absence of a drainage hole is a non-issue as the planter comes with a clever reservoir system that provides plants with the right amount of water they need. It keeps my plants hydrated without the risk of overwatering or messy spills. The poly resin material is durable and lightweight, making it easy to move around. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

A bit expensive and not very practical on high shelves
Seems like a good idea but you are supposed to water via an inlet on one corner of the pot. Difficult to see where is is when on a high shelf but for normal use does the job. I was lucky to get this at a good discount price but the standard price is a bit high

Fresh herbs on the windowsill
This is brilliant if you are like me:- love using fresh herbs in the kitchen- hate keep paying for either a packet or a small plant from the supermarket that dies within a fortnight.- have no interest or ability in gardening or plantsI ordered one to try it and bought a Greek Basil from the supermarket and it was still alive weeks later. I have only 3 plants in the house - very hardy plants that have survived my iratic watering - so everyone was amazed to see a plant that lasted more than a month in my 'care'.I bought another after a month and am about to buy 2 more. The square ones fit well on my kitchen windowsill and I like the granite colour - it looks stylish, not plasticky. One frustration was that the second order took weeks and weeks to come but I could live with that since they gave me an accurate estimate - in fact it arrived before the date.2nd Jan - added a photo with dimensions

Great self watering solution
Seriously impressive idea, it will work with any plant pot. I had a bit of trouble constructing it as as there’s a few fiddly parts and an annoying bit where you have to puncture a hole in the bottom of your plants plantpot (which made me spill soil everywhere). Once it’s up and running though it looks great and works really well. I would buy another. The textures sides would be better off smooth if you ask me though.

Lovely looking and self-watering works well. Water lasts a week.
These are very smart looking pots which won't look out of place anyway around your house. You will need some regular 15cm pots to slot into it. The plant sits in the regular pot and a 'wick' runs from this down into the water tank at the bottom. You fill the tank through a fill hole in one corner and there's a float level to show how much water is left. To give you some idea a small-ish chilli plant during the hot Summer is using about a tank of water per week. For less watering or keeping things going whilst you're away etc, these seem ideal, and just make pots look better around the house.

Good looking , sturdy , but you need a pot
4 starts because it doesn't have a bottom and you can't set the plant into the inner sectionPros:- good looking- sturdy- you have an indicator for the water levelCons:- even thought you can lift the internal part - it doesn't have a bottom, meaning you need to find a pot that fits this inner section.I'm guessing this is supposedly to give you flexibility in terms of ports. But why? The bigger Lechuza Premium pots have bottoms and expect you to plant straight into the inner section. And if flexibility was in their mind, how difficult it would have been to provide a round piece of plastic that acted as a bottom ? So you can plant directly into the inner container.I had to make such a piece myself as it was tricky to find a pot that fitted perfectly (my OCD was getting triggered when I found pots either too tall or not wide enough to make proper use of the available space)

it's a really good system and it kept my Chilly plant alive while ...
Unlike other costumers said, mine arrived without the innermost pot (you need 3 pots in total) and without the drainage pebbles.Aside from that, it's a really good system and it kept my Chilly plant alive while I was on Holiday for 2 weeks! Really great if you tend to forget to water plants and kill them, like me.

Great for those of us who travel, are woefully forgetful - or both.
I bought this thinking it seemed gimmicky, but I am rather surprised by how superbly it works.I think a few of the reviews here have missed the point and have tried to plant fresh plants in it and wondered why they died. The concept is that the plants roots need to be mature enough to have reached far enough down for the reservoir to take effect... else it's kinda like dangling your feet off a high diving board and complaining that your feet don't reach the pool. With an established plant with good roots, this is a great system. It is bringing a flamingo flower on my office desk back to life after it had some dead leaves, and I can see that at this rate it needs to be watered about once every two weeks, which is perfect for when I go away.Once setup, it is really easy to maintain as it has a pour hole to the side to add more water, so you dont need to worry about soil going everywhere as you take it apart to refill - you can do it right as it sits!I will be gradually migrating all interior plans to this system!
