Excellent item and easy to fit.

These is a very good quality fitting. Difficult to install using only the pre tape supplied as the back plate and tap were out of alignment by 45 degrees when tightened. The solution was to add an O ring and fibre washer to get the seal and alignment perfect. These seals ought to be supplied with the fitting but cheap enough from a local plumbers merchant. Nonetheless, a good tap fitting at a good price.

This tap was purchased to replace a garden tap which leaked badly when turned on, probably needed replacement washers. The new tap mated perfectly with the existing wall fitting using the supplied ptf tape, job done in a few minutes without any hitches . Nice tight smooth feel to the tap when turning on or off. An annoyance cured at little cost. I would have preferred a little more thread for the hose fitting but it appeares to be okay.
