I used these on a large wound which wouldn't stop weeping. Kept the area clean and moist and helped it heal rapidly. Waterproof too so I could still shower!

Burned my wrist with hot soup and working with food I had to get it all hygienically covered. Local chemist wasn’t much help so started searching on Amazon. These arrived on the second day after I burned myself and I sterilized everything, popped the blisters put them on, slightly worried about the fact that they were sticky and were going to be sticking to the actual blister..but I had to go to work so stuck it in anyway and covered it with some cohesive bandage and a tube bandage! I left it on for about four days when it started to peel up the edges a bit, so decided the time had come to risk having a look what was going on under the dressing... it peeled off relatively easily but DID take the blister with it... but under the dressing my burn was completely healed!!! Brand new shiny red skin, very thin and delicate but the wound was completely healed! The skin is very dry now and I have to moisturize it with a heavy duty moisturizer several times a day but it was just a week ago that I burned myself and here I am with my arm beautifully healed. No ugly scab, no more covering needed, just a pink mark on my arm!! These dressings are amazing and they will always be in my first aid box from now on!

I used these recently when I had a wound on my shin which wasn't healing quickly (and I knew was going to scar so I wanted to minimise this as much as possible). The product is extremely high quality and very easy to use. They also last for ages and are 100% waterpoof. The only issue with them (and why I dropped one star off 5 stars) is the price, you don't get many in a pack so they work out fairly expensive. They helped my wound to heal very quickly though and have minimised my scar as much as possible. I would buy again but would like to see if I can find any cheaper than this.

We were advised to try these for wounds caused to hands whilst working on car engines. These wounds often get oil and grease in them and are agitated multiple times a day whilst working so usually take a lot to heal but the hydrocolloid dressings are amazing! We have tried cheaper ones too but they're not worth it. These are definitely worth the price. The wounds heal fast and the scar tissue is smooth and strong. They stay stuck too, even whilst working, unlike many others. Highly recommend.

Applied to a weeping wound which would not heal. Within 24 hours of applying one of these plasters the wound was considerably improved. The gel in the dressing had moisturised the wound as it healed which avoided cracked skin. I have used hydrocolloid dressings before, but this is the best result I've seen. The gel containing the active ingredient is also generous in size - probably about 8cm square within the 10cm square dressing. Other dressings have massive adhesive areas and just a tiny square cm of active ingredient. Or they are sold in large boxes which conceal their true miniscule size. So this was a refreshing change. Adhesion was very good. Although there was just a small adhesive surround, it stayed in place until the dressing was changed, and yet was very gentle on the skin when it was removed.

Hydrocolloid Dressing - 10cm x 10cm (x5) Got a nasty scald and blister the other week on my belly, and the offerings from the local supermarkets weren't quite big enough to cover it! Bought some of these as it was oozing and they seem to have done the trick. I found that they were nice and thick and easy to apply, but possibly could do with being a tad more sticky. As others have said though, it can be mildly disconcerting to go against what you've been shown before (ie let it dry out and scab over) and watch the plaster go white and swell up as you wear it but the end result (minimal scarring!) is worth it.
