Being an outdoor worker in Wales, I've owned a lot of different flasks - including quite a few Thermos ones. ALL of them before this one had a major flaw - once some of the liquid (tea) was consumed, the cold air that replaced the tea cooled the rest down to a tepid temperature within 4 hours.I've always disliked the easy-pour/flip lids (actually, particularly on the standard 1L Thermos flasks - I've had two and on both of them the stoppers gave up within a year), but this double screw one actually works well, and alongside the excellent build quality of this flask, even half full/half empty (to those philosophers out there - they're the SAME THING!!!) it's still piping hot, 8 hours later.I purchased the 900ml 3 months ago, and so far have appreciated its excellence. There's no denying it's expensive, but you get what you pay for - this isn't Thermocafe or standard Thermos, it's an elite well-designed, practical flask. The only downside for me was that I had to cut some rubber off the cup/lid to allow it to fit in my (Iveco Himatic) van's cup holders.I stopped to write this review in the middle of purchasing the 500ml version, for lunch soup. I'd recommend the 900ml version unreservedly, it is seriously the best flask I've ever owned in terms of keeping stuff hot.

This is the best flask I’ve owned. It’s tough, the heat retention is top notch and it is very good value. It’s also a great size and holds two large cups of tea or coffee.

The media could not be loaded. Can't complain so far, I've had other Thermos products and the actual container is faultless I can't see this being any different, the weak point with all these bottles is the stopper/lid and I can guarantee you that it will eventually fail and a replacement will be needed. This shouldn't put you off the purchase, they are excellent value for money, this model is extremely lightweight, it's an excellent source for hydration, it's easy to use and sitting down after a hike it's a welcoming comfort to have a cup of tea. If you are outside the guarantee period for your product and replacement parts aren't available on Amazon try "Flasks Online"Been used a number of times now on my day Camps and this flask is brilliant! I even fill it the night before so as to have it ready when I set out the following morning and I use it approximately 12 hours after filling it and it's still piping hot. I have used it at home to test after 24 hours and it's still piping hot.

An expensive flask - absolutely.However,it’s very well manufactured and is 100% leakproof if used as advised.I purchased this item specifically due to the claims the manufacturer makes regarding how long it keeps liquid hot for.This is where it falls down slightly,it definitely keeps my coffee hot for longer than any other flask I have used,but after 8 hours it goes from hot to luke warm.I was dubious initially that it would indeed last for 24 hours,so the fact it didn’t was no great surprise.Just slightly disappointing.

Really happy with this. Good quality and does keep hot for a long time. I have opened a full flask of tea at 15 hours and was still very warm. In fairness You should pre heat the flask but yes well made, dishwasher safe and grippy so easy to hold Worth the extra

This is one of the best flasks that I've bought. Normally once you open a flask for the first time the drink loses some temperature but the way you can pour a drink out of this flask it helps retain temperature. Highly recommended

Extremely happy with this flask purchase.Ultra light when empty so perfect for taking on hikes.Made some tea 9pm one evening and the next morning at 8am it was still piping hot.It’s stylish too.
