Does the job, excellent quality and great price.However, if your TV is older, it's possible this may not work for you?Backward compatibility (or iPad2) issue?: i have 3 TVs this does not work at all with, these are older TVs and all 720p - no display at all, multiple attempts / different HDMI cables etc (LG,Panasonic and Luxor) - i have tried with native 720p movies with no joy.The 3 TVs that DO work for me, are higher resolution/newer TVs : 1 x 4k and 2 x 1080p (Samsung and LGs) - the picture is fantastic (as you would expect).I bought this to hook my iPad2 up to a 1080p TV in a caravan for movie watching, so am very happy with the purchase regardless of issues with my other TVs.

Doesn't work with iOS 7+Works fine with iOS6, but this is not an option anymore. There needs to be some sort of software update for this item

I just received this item for my IPhone 4s, unfortunately after paying the £12.99, it does not work!!!I have tried this on two tv's and neither connect or recognise this adaptor. I also get a message come up on my phone saying, this device is not recognised on this iPhone! Waste of money and I'll be looking to send this back!!Also, the picture for this item, does not match the item received. It does not have the brand name as shown in the picture!

The is a brilliant thing to have, We watch a lot from our iPad now on our tv. The delivery was extremely quick and arrived two days before the estimated delivery date. Fantastic. Thank you

Works great - sadly many apps have updated their software so it does not work with as many as it used to. Not sure if this is an Apple issue or if this is an aftermarket compatibility issue.
