Lovely Citronella Tealights
These Price's Citronella Tealights must be one of the best smelling ones on the market.I use these all over the house as it tends to keep spiders and bugs away....they don't like the smell of Citronella...a trick I picked up from living on a canal boat.Good value for money, dispatched and delivered really quickly and therefore recommend this seller.Thank you for a great product and service!

Don’t get bugged out!
I’ve seen citronella products for years, for some reason I assumed I’d hate the smell as my sense of smell is very acute. Last year we got bit worse than ever before. We were like all you can eat buffets for mozzies. It got so bad, once the light started to dwindle we’d make a sharp exit indoors, which subtracted from our summertime enjoyment. It can only be Likened to children going to bed way too early! This year we decided to bite the bullet and give them a go, to see if they really do work. I can confirm that they do work.We were able to sit outside until we had had enough. We noticed it doesn’t only keep the mosquitos away, it actually kept nearly all flying insects away. So, we decided to put one on in the kitchen to keep flies out. Hoping it would work, no matter how clean you keep the home, flies still somehow decide they’d like to come in when doors are open. We try to shoo them out before whipping out insect spray, but there are always pesky ones that refuse to leave, leaving no option but to spray them with the killer spray. We found we really like the citronella smell, so now we put one on in every room, not only do they reduce the number of flying insects immensely, they smell incredible too! It’s a win win 🏆We intend to use these in the summerhouse also, the only thing I’m wondering, is, would it be ok to put one in my greenhouse? I have mesh on the windows to prevent insects getting in and laying eggs on plants. At times, doors have to be opened on really hot days, would one of these in the greenhouse be ok with plants 🤷🏻♂️It would be a game changer.

Good product overall
Smelly but nice smelly. Burn out a little faster than expect hence why I took one star off. Good product overall

Pretty good all round.
Obviously bought to use outside to hopefully keep flies away from food and drinks. As the weather has been nice just lately, they've been getting some use and seem to be doing okay. These are smallish tealights but the burn time is pretty good for the size. I think these are pretty good value for money.

Not much scent
They’re ok tealiights for the price, not much scent and rarely do they last 4 hours. Normally a lot less burning time with some wax left at the bottom. But ok for the price.

Mostly works well, nice smell too
I bought these candles to help deter the insect pests that always seem to arrive this time of year. For the most part they have done that, though a few creatures don't seem to mind the smell. I've not had any flies, wasps, or moth since lighting just one every evening. It's no question that these candles are repelling the moths very well -- we still get them in rooms without these candles. However Spiders (Pholcidae in particular -- aka daddy longlegs) aren't repelled by this smell, so these candles won't do for you if that's the problem you're having. Most spiders are usually fine anyway as they just sit tight and nom everything else that gets caught in their web, it's just the odd Pholcidae hopping about everywhere that get annoying. It's hard to comment on the smell as it's very much a question of taste. They do smell rather citrusy. Not quite the full lemon smell, but close and pleasant enough. They do last roughly 4 hours each. You can make each one (after the first) last a bit longer if you wait for the expired candle wax to dry out, squeeze the container to break up the wax slightly, then tip it into your next candle. That's rather tight to do considering the pack of 25 is only £3.50 anyway! Great value, will be buying again.
