Minky Retractable Reel Washing Line, 30m of drying space

The Minky Retractable Duo Reel Washing Line has been a fantastic upgrade for my garden. The installation was straightforward, and once it’s up, it feels sturdy and secure. I love how the two lines give plenty of drying space without taking up the whole garden—perfect for larger loads. The retractable design is brilliant. I bought this to go between the side of my house and a fence across a 7 metre gap. It's brilliant, robust, so easy to use and has been in place for almost a year. You can also easily take it off the wall in the winter months to prolong the life. What a great purchase. Very very happy

This is my third of these. I’m vey happy with the product but the retaining lugs break off eventually so the washing line can’t be secured and the whole thing has to b replaced. The plus side is that the new one can be mounted easily on the existing bracket without drilling new holes in the wall.

delivery was fast the price was good and all in all looks of good quality not put it up as yet going to wait now for nicer weather but if it is anything like the other ones i have had will should be good

This has been a great little addition to the garden. It’s ideal if you don’t want a line permanently stretched across the space — you just pull it out when you need it, then retract it when you’re done. The line stays tight with no sag, even when I’ve got heavier items hanging, and it feels secure when clipped in. Price was fair too for the quality — it’s not flimsy or cheap-feeling like some of the others I looked at. Simple, tidy, and works exactly as you’d want.

WHAT A GREAT WASHING LINE WELL MADE AND DOES THE JOB FOR NOW

This is the second of these Minky clothes lines that I have bought, with this one being a direct replacement for the first. The product is fairly easy to install if you can do a bit of basic DIY. Drill two vertically stacked holes in your wall, screw in the mounting post, and then slot the plastic housing containing the reel onto the top. Once in use, the clothes line is effective, you drag the end of the line over to your chosen attachment point, and then you walk back and wrap a section of clothes line around an oval shaped plastic retainer at the bottom of the reel housing, which keeps the line taught. What I found was that after maybe 3 or 4 years of use, the aforementioned plastic oval retainer became brittle and snapped off, meaning I could no longer anchor the clothes line. Apart from this issue, I had been completely happy with the product, so I chose to order the same again, as I already had the correct mounting post up on the wall. Taking the reasonable price into account, I felt that 3-4 years was decent value for the product. Plastic does become brittle and snap when constantly exposed to the elements, so you can't expect it to last forever if it's permanently kept outside. You could of course detach the reel from the mount (very easy to do, it simply slides on and off) and store it indoors or in your shed when not in use, which would no doubt prolong its life, although this would be a bit inconvenient.

Haven't used it yet as still in the box with having rubbish weather. It looks to be decent quality though and I love that its retractable so you can store the lines away when its not in use👌

Geen betere als deze..

I bought this clothesline last summer and I wanted to wait a bit before giving it a rating. This product has become an integral part of my summer routine, and though it is winter I wanted to share my positive review. This clothesline is wonderful. It allows me to maximize my outdoor space efficiently. It has two screws that you can easily put up against a fence or deck and the lines easily extend and retract to put away when you are not using them. It also comes with clothespins to keep your clothes on the line. I love its sturdy construction. I can easily hang two lines of clothes without worrying about it bending or breaking. The durability of the line gives me peace of mind, knowing that it can handle the weight of multiple items including my heavy down comforters without any compromise in quality. One of the aspects I appreciate the most is the nostalgic touch it adds to my daily life. Hanging clothes on the line reminds me of the simpler times when my grandma used to do the same. The memories of playing hide and seek among the hanging sheets blowing in the breeze, come flooding back, adding a charming and sentimental element to the everyday chore. I had bought a cheaper brand of clothes line but when I put the clothes on the line broke very quickly. This line holds in place very well. During the spring and summer months, I thoroughly enjoy having my clothes out on the line It's a reliable, well-made product that not only serves its purpose but also brings a touch of nostalgia and joy to my home. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a durable and efficient outdoor clothesline.

Ho passato molto tempo in rete in ricerca di un stendi biancheria avvolgibile con lunghezza oltre di 4-4,2 mt. Maggior parte di questi stendibiancheria "avvolgibili" a 6 fili arrivano al massimo fino a 4,2 mt. , invece a me serviva uno da 6,2 mt. da installare su in terrazza. Dopo una serie di ricerche mi sono inciampato su questo articolo che aveva già un paio di recensioni positive ma senza troppe spiegazioni. Ho deciso di acquistare questo articolo considerando anche il prezzo irrisorio appena poco più di 20 euro. La consegna è avvenuta puntuale anzi in anticipo. Dopo una installazione facile e veloce lo installato sulla parete del mio terrazzo. Volevo solo soffermarmi un secondo....nella confezione è già compresi N°4 tasselli e N°2 ganci a tassello ma visto che questi tasselli e ganci mi sembravano molto dotati ho acquistato a Leroy M. tasselli e ganci più robuste (sta a voi a decidere cosa meglio). Lo installato ad una altezza di circa 185 cm da terra (io sono alto 175 cm. mia moglie alta 155 cm.) Diciamo che a questa altezza di 185 cm. lenzuola da due piazze rimangono divisi in 3/4 x 1/4 di risvolto. Poi se siete entrambi alti potete installarlo ancora più su. Ora vorrei soffermarmi su qualità di questo oggetto.....è costruito da vero bene , al mio avviso risulta molto robusto ,ricavato con dei materiale di ottima qualità. Al interno di questo gusci di plastica grigia ci sono due fili ogni filo lungo 15 mt. in totale per due fili sono 30 mt. Questi fili viaggiano separatamente uno dall'altro.....se avete lavato poca biancheria basta tirare fuori solo un filo.....una volta la roba è asciutta basta sganciare il terminale "nero" dal gancio sul muro e il filo si arrotola da solo.....naturalmente accompagnandolo fino alla base. Sotto il guscio grigio ci sono due sporgenze che servano come " il fermo " filo. Ora due parole su "filo"....plastificato con l'anima di corda (quello che di solito si usa su i balconi con i braccetti per stendibiancheria. Comunque considero questo oggetto molto facile nel utilizzo ma sopratutto molto pratico. Stendendo le lenzuola o biancheria un pò pesante su una lunghezza come mia (6,2 mt) il filo tende di imbarcarsi verso il centro...però non di tanto....considero questo fatto normale. Comunque prima di rilasciare questo commento utilizzo già questo magico stendibiancheria da ben due mesi.......e tutte le volte che lo utilizzo rimango molto ma molto soddisfatto dell'acquisto. Ho dimenticato anche di specificare che il guscio di plastica grigia è facilmente staccabile dal muro,basterebbe togliere due perni e la base si stacca completamente e volendo si può ritirare in qualche mobile.....al muro rimane solo una staffa a "U" e die gancetti da l'altra parte. Comunque confermo che questo stendibiancheria non è ingombrante....io lo tengo sempre agganciato al muro. Finisco di scrivere questa recensione e acquisterò un'altro per la mia suocera....che dopo aver visto mio è rimasto colpita e vorrebbe uno. Non saprei cos'altro aggiungere....vorrei chiedere scusa in anticipo per la confusione del testo e dei errori grammaticali (forse si capisce che non sono Italiano). Klasse Teil! Es wirkt stabil und man kann sehr viel aufhängen. Ich nutze es primär um kites aufzuhängen und abzuspühlen. Die Leinen hängen natürlich etwas durch, da man sie händisch um die befestigungs Vorrichtungen wickeln muss. Mit etwas Übung kein Problem und bekommt sie ganz gut straff und sitzen fest umwickelt um die Vorrichtung. Bislang habe ich keine Probleme mit der Rückführung der Leinen. Wenn man sie langsam, auf die Trommel zugehend einfahren lässt, passt das und schont den Mechanismus. Nach der Nutzung lässt sich das Teil schnell abmontieren. Einfach die zwei Halterungsstifte herausnehmen und dann das Gerät, in 4 Sekunden erledigt.
