I use quite a few ayurvedic supplements and changed to this a few months ago and it seems to be more effective than my previous brand which wasn't organic, I was worried about pesticides which can make me feel very ill possibly lurking in my other brand. Since changing to this I've had no issues but a noticeable reduction in unwanted menstrual cycle symptoms so I think the strength and absorption is better with this. Capsules are easy to swallow. This comes in a glass bottle which is better all round environmentally

I have suffered from Endometriosis since 26 years. It had almost gone into dormancy from the past couple of years. So I thought having a natural Estrogen supplement would make no bad influence on my health. Oh man was I wrong! It took all of one dose for me to start feeling my Endometriosis pain creeping back up and such severe headaches. I tried the pills for 2 whole days before giving up. The bottle now fulfills a decorative purpose. I am sure it is highly affective which is why it worked like this for me. I just believe that it is truly contraindicative for patients of Endometriosis and this is something that they ABSOLUTELY need to mention on their description to save women like me from buying it. I believe there are women like me who have already given them this feedback, but they seem to have not taken it seriously which is not acceptable. That is the reason for the one star. Otherwise I believe that Shatavari in itself is probably a very affective product and will help a healthy woman very well. But for any woman with certain issues like Endometriosis or for women where Estrogen is contraindicated (like my mother who had breast cancer and cannot take HRT) Shatavari is an absolute NO NO.
