I've finally got (and can watch) 🍏TV+ in the UK !!!
This literally has EVERY streaming & On-Demand service available in the UK, many for the first time, Like the Sublime Apple TV+ (🍏TV+)!! It's only been officially available for the UK since the last week of October! As for The Roku experience itself, it's fantastic, and easy as pie to use, with great features. 4K, Dolby Amoss, Dolby Vision & Dolby Digital sound (5.1 Surround & Dolby Stereo), HDR & HDR10 (& HDR-BT2020, I think?🤔) You have Amazon Prime/Fire TV, Netflix🤗❤️, 🍏TV+, CrunchyRoll/Funmation/Manga TV for all of your Animé needs, (Anime - pronounced Ahneemay, is specialised Japanese + now Korean animation, most Dubbed into Eng with options for original soundtrack. You even get Spotify so you can listen to your favourite music too. Throw in BBC's I player, ITV, More 4+HD and even some SkyHD, and even live TV! (read description & included leaflet). Add to that many, MANY more channels, apps and games, and you have pretty much enough to watch to never use a subscription Box again 🙂👍The 4k picture is outstanding, as is the Dolby Atmos 5.1 sound I receive, but pic & sound all depend on the speed of your Broadband connection and Wi-Fi speed. For more info on these matters, go to the Roku website mentioned in the description🙂🌈So, my opinion? ROKU IS KING👑of all plug-in TV services! It's 10/10 from me 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥. Peace love unity & respect to you all 🙂🙏📿🧘♂️🌍❤️🌹😇💯

Wow, absolutely huge improvement over the previous Roku box
Having owned the Roku 3 box for a couple of years it was feeling a little laggy and always had the slower wireless connection. I decided to upgrade to the streaming stick plus and was frankly taken away by what an improvement it is.Streaming via all the major services like Netflix and Amazon Video is near instant and the UI is very very snappy (on the Roku 3 box you could press a button and there would be a delay before anything happened).Setup was very easy and took about 5 minutes from plugging it in, signing in and connecting to device to my ipad. The app is amazing. Being able to add channels, search and do everything via my ipad screen is so much better. Searching is no longer an issue - down to the ipad keyboard and voice control.Only slight annoyance I have at the moment is no way to group or order my channels. Ideally, I'd like my most used, or channels I specify, to appear at the top of the channels list. Would also be good if I could remove the four channel stickers on the controller and bind my own channels to those buttons instead. However, as far as upgrades, for £54.99, this is huge one. Being able to open channels via an app on my ipad is worth the upgrade price alone. Can;t recommend it enough. If you have the previous generation Roku box, upgrade now.

Easy to set up and use, good quality and an excellent solution at a great price.
We were torn between a Roku and a Fire Stick.A lot of people said they preferred the Fire Stick but the Roku Streaming Stick+ was cheaper and still seemed to tick all the boxes so we went with it, and so far it's been faultless. There is no lag, the picture quality is excellent and it's easy to use.Only challenge we had was that the design of our TV is such that the Roku didn't fit in either HDMI port with the usb power cable attached - but we bought a cheap flexible HDMI - HDMI adapter and it's worked absolutely fine. It's small enough to take away with you too so you can use it in a travelodge or similar. Has all the apps I need, and alongside a TV with built-in freeview, we've been able to save ourselves around £100/year by not taking outa TV package.

Fast even on Tv's that are not 4K.
Disclaimer **Brutal honesty and shade throwing included where applicable**The Roku Streaming Stick+ is a good product my initial thoughts when i bought it were 'holy ****' that's insane as I had just moved from amazon prime stick to Roku and found the speed a dramatic improvement. I was very pleased with this and have since then recommended it to all of my friends and passing strangers. Speed is such a desirable factor when you are watching TV it even improved the speed of the amazon prime app.For those who are not familiar with Prime Video (it's slower than a tortoise with two broken legs and about as reliable as telling a young adult who just passed their GCSE's to organise the family's financial accounts - it works maybe 70% of the time).Voice Recognition it self is functional, however it's function is limited. You can't for example search within apps; or search for an app and be taken directly into the app. You can't say things like "Search Youtube For: 'Hello - Adele'", recursive searching is not a thing, it's more like 'Netflix', and then it shows you the app Netflix in your app section, for which you then have to press select on the remote to go to Netflix (perhaps Roku can work on developing Endpoints that integrate with app searches as typing out searches is frustrating in apps like youtube).Remote Control is pretty good, however it could use with a prime video button :) get rid of the less important ones like google-play; like there has to be nearly no one watching that. There are some initial connection issues with the remote when you boot up and it's connecting to the wifi, but i think that can't be avoided. Should also add a youtube button; people spend hours on youtube for entertainment. All other streaming services accessed through Roku such as Netflix etc and now TV were lightening as well and work 100% of the time no issues whatsoever. The stick gets very hot though.Roku is the god of all streaming sticks, it literally smashes them to bits in order from best = 1 to worst = 10- Roku = 1- Now TV = 6- Fire Stick = 10The only issue is providers like amazon who integrate with Roku (i.e. you can watch prime video on roku, but the integration code breaks) they release breaking changes to prime video specific to roku streaming devices, because to amazon that's low risk and then fail to compensate amazon prime customers when they stop usage as the facility to watch prime is only blocked on one demographic you can use it on other devices.Still quite disgruntled with amazon on this (if amazon is reading this...), a while ago i complained and has no suitable resolution. That's not a fault with Roku so to speak, but Roku should maybe do more to fight amazon video breaking their app.I've given Roku a 4/5 simply because the price could be slightly more affordable, as people may want to buy more than one for their household. I plan to wait until after Christmas to purchase my second Roku device. £25-35 pounds would be just right. I also would love for the GEO-block to be removed from many of the streaming services such as Netflix to watch flash & arrow; however this is probably beyond Roku's control. Bottom line, i'd buy again and continue to recommend, makes my life easier.
