PEBEO650307 245 ml Odourless Mineral Spirit, Transparent (Packaging may vary)

This is the replacement for a really bad smelling white spirit. And this time I git it right. It doesn’t smell bad and you can use it indoors. I bought it to dilude oilpaints for scale models. Works well!

When I learned there was such a thing as odourless mineral spirit, I immediately ordered this. It makes brush cleaning *far* less unpleasant (and better for your health, as you’re not breathing in all those VOCs).

Perfectly good product. Does what it should at a decent price.

Bought to mix with clear silicone to make a water proofer for dogs winter jacket to keep rain out will update as tried and tested watch this space.

Great stuff for cleaning track and no smell

So easy to use and creates such a great blended colour effect, would highly recommend, I Purchased this after my son watched a art tutorial on how to blend layered colours for the reptiles eye, he simply dipped our blending paper pencil Into the pot and work round and round and round in small circles from the lightest colour out to the darkest colour resulting in a lovely blended depth to the eye. I would have purchased a smaller bottle had I have found one online as he doesn’t need to be carrying around this large bottle but I’m going to find a smaller pot and put some cotton wool in the pot and soak the spirit onto it so he can use it from a smaller pot and I’ll just keep this big bottle For topping up.

This size of OMS thinner is great to put in your art box if you're painting outside. Good quality thick glass bottle and secure cap.I have to say the reviews of parents allowing their children to this use stuff after seeing you tube tutorials is worrying.OMS, although less harmful than turps, is still something you don't want evaporating into your house for a prolonged time. Limit the time you're exposed and if decanted into an open container/vessel with no secure lid you must pour back in when finished and bin any contaminated materials used.Happy painting!

Used to thin gilding paste that had dried into a rock. It worked great.

This product was a life saver. Had an old oil paint by number that I hadn't completed in over 2 yrs. The paints were rock solid. And thanks to this product I was able to re-soften the paints again and finish by picture.
