'They' say to make sure that any extra RAM you add to your existing RAM should be exactly the same, so that they can talk correctly to each other. Check the product codes on your existing RAM if adding extra. I wanted to replace all the RAM, so this item was perfect for me. This RAM is 16Gb made up of 2 x 8Gb RAM. If you use any programmes which do a lot of processing, it is suggested that you should have 16Gb RAM at least. I removed my old RAM and inserted these two. In my laptop, one is inserted upside-down to the other, so you can see both sides in the photo. They are actually identical. Inserting RAM is really easy. Just pull apart the 2 metal 'springs' at the sides of the old RAM. These hold the RAM in place. The RAM should now lift slightly. Pull the RAM out carefully so as not to damage the connector pins. Replace with new RAM, by inserting into the connector, push down and make sure the RAM springs have clicked back into place. That's it. All done! My laptop now works a treat, with the processing being much quicker.

I purchased two of these a few months ago for my laptop as my work was becoming more resource demanding and programmes where crashing when a few where open or a few tabs where open. (I had standard 8gb ram on my laptop before hand). I've never had anything more than 4-8GB ram and since getting two 16gb sticks, I have seemless work time with multiple programmes open, multiple chrome tabs is now a breeze (although if you still use chrome nowadays... switch the the 'new' edge beta. Google it ;) - uses less resources than chrome but uses the chrome foundation so you can import all your bookmarks and extensions over. This means I have even MORE free ram space now and means I can also game on the side of all my work application with 0 slowing down. Never using any other ram types again other than corsair and 32gb.

RAM upgrade for HP 14-bp151. Older laptop but still ok. Couldn't handle heavy business apps with only 8gb. Took a few days to deliver but arrived on the stated day. Fitted the 2 sticks. Booted and no issues. Laptop absolutely flies now. Wish I'd got this sooner. Such a difference. I'd recommend checking what the max ram for your laptop is...mine was quoted at 16gb but testing it showed 32gb should work and did perfectly. Very happy with the performance. Feels like a new laptop.

This has gone straight into my Dell 5495 laptop, seems like good quality genuine Corsair memory! It has come up in CPU-Z as CL16 clocks, corsair module manufacturer and Samsung Dram manufacturer. Very happy and my laptop runs great going from 8gb to a match 16gb setup.

There's not much I can say about this. Corsair is a good brand so the fact that's it's fast and 100% reliable is no surprise, it also runs reasonably cool which is good. I used two sets of these in my Lenovo P50 to give me 64GB. It just works. And at the price, it's a good deal. If I had to purchase it again I wouldn't hesitate. A+++
