Visions Skillet

This is a high quality product. The design is very simple but effective. I love glass because it is a material well-known for being innocuous, so you will never have to worry about any toxic chemicals that could affect the food or its flavour. This pan has no coating whatsoever (just a rough surface), so I never have to worry about scratches or accidentally removing the coating. It's super easy to clean as well. I love it!

Tried frying an egg on the skillet as a starter for ten. Went heavy on the oil and very careful on the heat but the egg burned onto the pan and took quite a bit of scrubbing to remove.This is not a replacement for a frying pan in general.[Edit] Since tried a steak. The result was nice but had to be extremely careful on the heat and keep the steak moving CONTINUOUSLY to avoid sticking. Not an enjoyable cooking experience and the skillet required a lot of scrubbing to clean up.

The Visions skillet made in France is a fantastic, non porous pan to fry with, boil, cook porridge etc. As it was so expensive it was the only pan I bought and I use it for everything, because of its depth. It is so versatile it can go in the oven and cleaning it is no problem as I wipe it down immediately after use and soak it in ecover washing liquid.Love it very much, an awesome non toxic addition to my kitchen.

Excellent item, except for frying egg as found they stick, even with gas set lower. Prefer my enamel fry pan which I use solely for eggs/ pancake. Other than this excellent buy, solid weight, good size, glass lid,and handle doesn't get hot. I soak immediately after use with washing up liquid, 2 months on pan looks new. Would recommend.

I like the fact it is glass however all I can do in it is to saute food adding quite a bit of water otherwise everything will stick really quickly to the glass. Cleaning is difficult too especially once it sticks. I think I would buy it again even though it has limited use.

I bought this as I wanted the safest cook ware it works well and cleans well with a scrubber however the food gets cold very quick when you are cooking with glass so have an in between for eg put the pan in oven so the heat can be constant on the food or have another plan
