First of all it came in a surprisingly like nice box that would be perfect for sending as a gift. Inside the box are some instructions and a meat temperature guide which is a nice touch. The thermometer seems accurate and is really fast, generally taking around 5 or 6 seconds to read the temperature. It has a magnet on the back which I love as it means I can store it on the fridge :) I like how it auto turns on when you flip out the probe then auto turns off when you flip it back to closed position. There is a calibration feature and a couple other features but I haven't really used them

Very pleased with this, having a meat thermometer was a break through for cooking as no longer cook it to death to make sure it is done. I had a simple one before that did not turn off and eventually got broken, so I replaced with this one. Very easy to use, folding the probe over makes it less likely to break and turns it off saving battery. I have a metal surround oven door so stays on that with no issue Very happy with this and does what you expect

I had never owned a meat thermometer before but after a few times eating under cooked meat decided to get one. Very impressed with the company for delivery,customer follow up and an excellent product at a good price. I work as a chef and these have become standard in my place of work - in the first place because it is the only one which can stand up to the heat, steam and chaos of the kitchen! The BEST thing about this thermometer, though is how FAST the reading is! The last thing you want in a busy kitchen is to hold your hand above a hot grill (ouch!) for 10-20 seconds. This one does it in a quarter of the time. It is very important to have one of these - it allows you to cook meat to a safe temperature without overdoing it. I bought a second one for home - really good for bangers or roasts, christmas turkey etc. Good deal.

i even tested the accuracy, i compared it with the thermometer from hospital, it reads the exact body temperature as the hospital thingy
