Tera PVC Self Inflatable Spongy Pillow Blue for Camping Hiking Travel Outdoor Sports

I wanted a pillow with a depression in the center of the pillow. From the photo, it looked like this pillow had a depression, but the one I received did not have the depression. Update: I've had this pillow for over 6 months now. For me this pillow is very comfortable. In fact, it is the pillow I sleep on every night. I do not fully inflate the pillow, and a depression is created when I sleep on it. I sleep on both my back and on my sides, and it is comfortable in both positions. I've taken it on trips if I had enough room to pack it. If you are concerned about space, you may not want this pillow because it is not really compact when deflated. It is made of a thicker material, similar to self inflating air mattresses. I think the thicker material makes the pillow more comfortable. Amazingly, it has not leaked in the 6 months that I've used it. My previous air pillow had a depression, and it was also very comfortable. However, it started leaking, and after several attempts to repair the leaks, I gave up and bought this one as a replacement.

For saving space, these are great. It looks adorable sitting next to a backpacking sleeping bag. It's amazing how big those sleeping bags get when you unroll them, isn't it? Unrolling this pillow isn't that amazing. It also isn't super comfortable. I found the perfect amount of half deflatedness to make it tolerable to use for the 5 hours I was using them for, but I wouldn't swap these out for your regular pillows. I bought one for me and my son, and we were both decidedly unimpressed with these. They are far more convenient to carry than a regular pillow though, so they've made a permanent home with the rest of our camping gear. I wish I could give them more stars, because really they're just "okay".

I use it as a back pillow in the tub. Beats using my sleeping pillow (I never could get my pillow dry enough before I went to sleep - always woke up with wet hair). I use it at the preset inflation amount and while a little small dimensionally it does the job until I can find something bigger. Don't know what it is like to sleep on; the few times I was nearing sleep while in the tub I woke up after water started running in my nose or I had a big bump on my head where I cracked it on the porcelain.

I bought two of these pillows to be used for motorcycle camping trios, where space is limited. It compresses to a small size and stays small in the pouch included. Inflates pretty well on own, and I add only a bit at the end from my own lung power. It is a bit thicker than other inflatable pillows I have tried. Some people might find it a bit small to sleep on, especially if you tend to roll around and move during your sleep, but I think it is good for what it is.

I've only slept on this for 2 nights while out camping, but being someone that is extremely picky about pillows (I normally sleep on a $100 latex pillow at home) it does a great job.I like the fact the pillow compacts so small (not sure why people complain about its size in some of these reviews, must be weight wienies)When I first inflated the pillow, I let it self-inflate for a few minutes while setting up my hammock. I then gave it a few puffs of air to fill it up more. Of course this was very uncomfortable as it was like laying on a football. I then turned the valve and let it deflate until it was to my comfort level... that was it!

i got two of these for the hubs bc i am notorious for forgetting the pillows when camping and i never did like the idea of taking our bed pillows into the great outdoors anyway. these are small and compact and fit in with all other camping gear. they inflate well and are comfortable enough for camping.

It is nice but does not deflate completely and takes up room which might be needed for other things when traveling. But I typically only have a backpack as "carry on" and others with larger carry ons might not care.

Great pillow. Comfortable, compact. Great for backpacking. Dont believe the hype with all the self inflating mumbo jumbo for backpacking gear. It all still requires blowing it up manually. But still a good pillow.

A little bulky but still nice product.
