This compilation of eighteen tracks of cajun orchestra plus four of Zydeco would either be a great introduction to Cajun for those unfamiliar to the genre or over an hour of well selected music to bounce around to for those already familiar with Cajun.There are tracks from such luminaries as the Balfa Brothers, Nathan Abshire and Austin Pitre and other less well known performers to enjoy on this.It's a budget priced compilation and remarkably good value. Just ok, only a few tracks I would call truly Cajun. Bit disappointed to be honest.

This album is a must for anyone's collection who likes Cajun music. It is full of what I feel to be very authentic tracks and a joy to listen to - it will make you tap your feet and want to dance!!!

This is a brilliantly made selection of some of the very best cajun music. And the songs do NOT all sound the same (see previous reviewer). I've had this record for years and it is still a delight. Do yourself a favour mes amis.

This is a great piece of music, and enjoyed it very much. Great to play at a bbq or listening to it on your own....This could win the X factor.....Maybe not, as the panel is talentless and wouldn't recognise Live singers....
