Great game that keeps kids attention. Teaches patterns and colors. Love that all pieces fit inside of the treasure chest. Love this game

Because it says for ages 4+, I didn't think the older grandkids (ages 6-9) would like the game. They ALL loved it! It occupied them for hours and then they played pirates with the treasure chest. (Put away the small pieces if they do that! We've already lost a major piece!) Well worth the money.EDIT: Remember that lost piece I mentioned? I contacted the seller and asked if I could buy a replacement piece and the seller replaced it! These guys are awesome! (As in the vernacular of what that word used to mean.) I would gladly give ten stars!

We had a lot of fun with this game. I put different gifts in the chest so the winner doesn't know what they will end up with. Great for all ages I'm 62 and loved playing with the kids.

We got this game for our daughters for Christmas this year (5yo and 7yo). They love the packaging which is much more interesting than your standard box since it's like a little plastic treasure chest. The rules are quite simple to learn, which is great for younger children. My daughter's liked picking out their own pirate names. It probably wouldn't be a good game for younger children paired with older children since it's a game of speed and older kids will have too big of an advantage over the littler ones, but it works well for the age range of our two daughters.It's simple enough that they can play together without an adult, and it doesn't take a lot of patience either so it's perfect for younger children. They love being able to use a key to open the chest and take out a coin. I feel like the novelty might wear out quickly with this game, but so far our girls have been enjoying it.

Loved how this game is so tactile with lots of clicking of the dice into the tubes and coins tumbling out of the chest! We also liked the little details like choosing your pirate name before you start. It’s nice that older kids can play with younger kids where one has to match colors and symbols and the other just has to match colors so it is more equally challenging. We will definitely be trying the alternate ways to play too!

Played this with a 16 year old, a 10 year old and a 7 year old and they all loved it!

My son loves all things pirates so he was ecstatic opening this. He loves the game when it works properly but unfortunately the blocks keeping getting stuck in the tubes. Once they’re stuck, it’s hard to get them out especially for a 4 year old. He ends up more frustrated than having fun. The tubes should definitely be made bigger so the blocks don’t get stuck repeatedly.
