Sarah McLachlan Collection (Easy Piano (Hal Leonard))

Great quality. Easy Piano level is perfect for me since I haven't taken a lesson in 21 years and just want to dabble.

I have to agree with the previous reviewer. These arrangements don't do justice to Sarah McLachlan's music. The keys have all been changed unnecessarily and some of the notes are just WRONG. It makes me think the arranger wasn't very familiar with any of these songs. The only exception is "Ben's Song," which is done beautifully. Some of the other pieces are starting to grow on me as well, after I get over the fact that they don't sound anything like the original version. I'm not sorry I got this book, but it could have been done much better.

Unfortunately, this book does not do justice to Sarah McLachlan's music. I love her music but this book was really disappointing. You can barely recognize any of the songs when you play from this book. In my opinion, the arrangements are very poor. Granted this is easy piano, but I have played other similar books and they sound much better. I highly recommend NOT to buy this book. As a matter of fact, I will be more than happy to send you my copy. I rated this book with two stars because of the nice cover.
