There is enough in each can. The flavor is as expected. Great price. Glad I found this brand. I'm the only one that loves it in my family. More for me. In good health.

I got this thinking it was going to be a product of vietnam like the other Geisha product i have that is delicious but, it is not. no biggie but, some may have issues with it being from China i suppose..Taste isn't bad but, it is not my fav either. I ended up pouring rest of can in a drainer and rinsing the mackerel pieces (which are huge) under water to rid of some of the salt. Then fed it to my dogs after the cats wanted nothing to do with it..overall not for me, everyone tastebuds are different so may be for others so 4 stars..

Bought this (on Black Friday sale) with a lot of concern that I had no knowledge of how it would taste, but with the attitude I had little to lose financially. The couple of old reviews said nothing useful; to me. Having just ate some, I want to ‘enhance’ the record in these reviews; this is a good product, fit for people to eat. This item has sold out for now. It is a Chinese product.

Cans were dented and it doesn't taste or smell good.

I decided to take a chance on buying this despite some old reviews saying this was bad or there was tomato sauce in it etc. Glad I tried it and found out that this is good mackerel at a reasonable price. Will be purchasing more if the price stays the same. I recommend it if you are needing mackerel.

I box had 12 cans in a 4 x 3 pattern. Every can was dented at least once on the side, some twice, and some on the top as well. This was not a delivery issue because the 2 of the cans were inside the others and the box arrived in perfect condition. The evident lack of quality control in this Chinese product is concerning to me.

Is advertised as 15oz , but is only 8oz of fish,, all the rest is water and obviously the metal can ,, they at list could be more honest about it..As far as the taste goes, well is for my dog, she seems to like it,,,, it just doesn’t make any sense being so dishonest on there advertising , about how much is really in it ,,,,,,! Hope Amazon do something about it!!

I’m sure you can eat this by itself, but there isn’t much flavor alone. I’d recommend using this with tomato sauce recipe. Sauté olive oil, garlic, basil, shrimp and mackerel and finish with a little wine and it works well together. There are edible bones in there, but I’d recommend removing them. Used with a pasta sauce and shrimp, you can probably get away with a single can for a dinner of 2-3 people. Good quality and not mushy.
