Delicious chocolatey taste
I love this brand and the taste of the Espresso- very hard to get in the shops at the moment- it has a chocolatey/nutty taste to it. You either like it or you don't. Everyone has their own sense of taste when it comes to coffee- best to try first.

Strength 6, but with smooth intensity and a crema!
Tesco's suddenly had none in stock so we decided to look for Percol on Amazon. What a find, the new expresso is even better than the old and without a prixe premium. Strngth 6, but apart from the buzz you'd hardly know that. Strong, dark, intense with a really silky crema. Hint of dark chocolate toffees? Excellent flavour and at good value for money. Lock down treat.

This is the only instant coffee that I will drink, I have it strong and dark ,just a small bit of coffee whitener in it, I mostly drink brewed coffee from my coffee maker, but for a quick cuppa this is the one, the price this time was amazing!!

Percol Black & Beyond is the Best instant espresso coffee I have found !
***This review was written for Percol Black & Beyond Espresso Instant Coffee*** If you love your espresso but cannot be bothered with the expense of the good machines for home use. This stuff is superb. A heaped teaspoon in a small espresso cup, mix with cold water then add hot water. Not boiling. You get a perfect crema on the top and a damn fine espresso. I buy this by the case. Excellent.

I'd say 4 level teaspoons ish. \nAs a reference, the strength I like in Costa/Starbucks is a small with 3 shots.\nOne of the benefits of making this product strong is that is dosn't become metally in taste, it just strengthens until you have it how you like it.\nI currently use 100% milk to make my coffee, it's as close to the real thing an instant can get IMO. The powder creates a nice foam like a proper crema from a proper machine.
