CloverPom Maker: Extra Small, Other, Cerise/Purple/Off White

I needed to make 100 4 “ Pom Poms this made my project easy. The maker was easy to use and gave nice even Pom poms.It was good value for time saved on a big project.

It is very good for doing small pom pom.

These are great little pom pom makers, very easy to use aswell.

I love these they are so good at making Pom poms and the quality is fantastic can’t fault them.I got the bigger one now as I was so pleased.

These are excellent little things! I needed to make a pom pom to go on top of my Daughters hat so did one in the usual manner with 2 cardboard donuts. I fiddled and fiddled and kept loosing the threads of yarn from the middle (I havent made pom poms for years I might add)After a couple of attempts I managed and it does look good on top of said hat but saw one of these on youtube and had to get one!They are used in the same way as the cardboard donuts but much much easier! The picture for this product is coming out as a scarf with poms on, on my computer so there is no ref to follow but I have put in a link for the larger ones to show what they are like.They consist of 2 separate pieces with a spindle in between that can separate the 2 halves. Each side of the donut can be pulled up to reveal a half moon. You wrap the yarn around the side closing each half as you fill it. Once full enough you cut between the middle of the half moon and keep it folded into the donut shape, then wrap yarn around the top and tie tightly then gently pull the 2 segments apart. Voila!! A pom pom! No fiddling one handed with the yarn that secures the pom pom. Easy!Sadly these are too small to make a pom pom for my other Daughters hat so I ordered the  Large Pom Pom Maker A brilliant idea and now they make a  heart

I love these pom pom makers, they are so much faster and easier to use than the old way of making pom poms using 2 circles of card. The reason I've only given 4 stars is because the small set makes pom poms of 35 and 45mm, and the large set makes pom poms of 65 and 85mm, so if you need to make pom poms in several sizes there is a very obvious jump from 45mm to 65mm. I made a pom pom wreath and ended up making 65mm pom poms then trimming them down to 55mm to fill in what looked like a big gap between sizes. The trimming was more time consuming than making the pom poms. I also think 55mm would be the best size for bobble hats - the 45mm seems too small and the 65mm too big. So I think that either the small or the large set should have a 55mm pom pom maker.
