No More Crawling Under Your Car
I change the oil in my car which has saved me a lot of money over the years and extended the life of my cars. However it was a job I increasingly dreaded - jacking the car up, crawling under the car on a damp driveway, removing the needless abs plate and then opening the sump screw, dealing with the old oil and then having to reverse the whole process. This vacuum pump is a revelation - far quicker and a fraction of the work! This pump assembles in seconds, easily slips down the oil dipstick tube and after a few pumps begins to suck the oil out. I was concerned that it would not suck all the oil out but the full 4.6 litre capacity of my car was removed in a few minutes. I wish l had this years ago. The pump feels well made and assembles with reassuring tightness. I expect it to last years. From pump assembly to sucking the oil out and changing the filter the whole lot was finished in less than 30 minutes! This is much safer, quicker and cleaner than getting under your car. I am now far more inclined to do oil changes when they are needed rather than putting it off until l absolutely have to change it. I also use the pump on my lawnmower to suck out the old oil as well as sucking out stale petrol after the winter - it’s very handy to have. 5 star - strongly recommended.

Worth every penny, best bit of kit I've ever bought for car maintenance.
This has to be the best piece of kit I have ever bought for car maintenance. I've lost count of how many oil changes I've done with this - two changes a year on two cars (and I've had this for 4 changes of car over the years I've had this). An oil, oil filter and air filter change in less than an hour, no ramps, no crawling under the car, no risks, no mess. I've measured the amount of oil extracted against the amount the manuals say the engine holds and its all there. The two tubes supplied have fitted all sizes of dip stick tubes I've encountered and they can also be used to extract the oil from the bottom of the chamber where the oil filter sits, the old oil filter etc. The pump works as well as it did on day one and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to do regular oil changes without either paying garage prices or, alternatively, having all the hassle and risk of running a car up ramps, crawling underneath and doing your best to avoid a) scalding yourself on the engine or oil, b) damaging or threading the drain plug, c) missing the oil bucket and d) dropping a car on your head. It's so easy to use that my son, who was 10 when I got this, has been setting the pump up and pressurizing it since day one while I explain the finer points of the internal combustion engine. He hates it.

Best oil change ever!
After reading the very good comments I decided to buy the Sealey TP69. I bought this item to change the engine oil in my cars. The first was my Audi A4 1.9 TDI (2007). Wasn't sure what to expect, as I have been disappointed with other purchases in the past (Proxxon Electrical pump). Yet, after using the Sealy for my oil change I must say, this is brilliant! Bring the oil up to temperature. Put in the hose in throught the dipstick hole (8mm works very well in the TDI). Unscrew fillercap to alow airflow to the sump to compensate for the vacuum you are about to create. Pump the handle a couple times up and down (just like you would a bicycle pump) and oil starts to flow immediately. When finished, pull out the hose from the dipstick hole. Keep paper towels nearby for dripping oil. Hold the hose in the air so the last oil will be sucked out of the hose into the container. After filling up the oillevel. You can use the old oil container to dispose of the old oil by just pouring it in (without dripping or spilling). Never was an oil change more easy than this. It did an excellent job. Piece of cake. Really as easy as other comments already suggested! The whole assembly is robust, well made and looks durable. I'm entirely satisfied. Maximum points (stars) from me. Brilliant!

Pump
Good sturdy design and nearly perfect capacity. Drained 6.5l or warm oil from the car in about 10 minuets with a stop halve way through to pour some out - I was worried it would get compleatly full and start seeping out the top. It has a push button on the top to release the vacuum and stop pumping. It did seem to get all of the oil out (~6.5l), but since I didn't remove sump plug and check I can't say for sure. Ill let the garage do every other change the old fasioned way as I do worry a little about sludge being left behind. It comes with 3 plastic tubes, one connects to the extractor and either of the other two to this by pushing it into the very hard rubber bung. It is a tight fit and I wouldn't worry about it accidentally coming undone. I did google a few horror stories about cheaper extractor tubes ending up disconnecting and lodging in sumps, couldn't happen with this as the tubes are quite thick and each have a metal spine to stop them coiling too much. This is not for oil storage and needs to be cleaned after each use. I think you would need to take it apart to compleately clean it, but a squirt of washing up liquid and a hose in the spout got it clean enough.
