AlessiOrange Peeler, Stainless Steel, Silver

Purchased to replace horrible orange plastic peelers which we frequently throw out with the orange peel. This on the other hand is a classic, beautiful and functional. Pleasure to hold and use.

I used to have a little plastic orange peeler, which I loved but unfortunately lost. I bought a pair of metal peelers from amazon and they were absolutely useless.I decided to look for the plastic ones and saw this little gem. After reading reviews, I decided to take the plunge and I am so glad that I did.This is the best little gadget ever! It fits into my hand perfectly and is very, very sharp. Well worth the money.The only problem is that I am now eating far too many oranges because peeling with this tool is extremely addictive and satisfying. Would make the perfect gift for any orange lovers in your life.

I was looking for an orange peeler as a gift.Something that works, looks elegant and is lasting.I could primarily find plasticky orange peelers during my research.When I found a pic of this guy I thought to myself "this looks perfect".Then I noticed the price of it which dampened my enthusiasm a bit, admittedly.I let it ponder over and decided to give it a shot regardless, and I am very glad I did.This is an expensive orange peeler.BUT,This is such a nice little kitchen accessory. Calling it an orange peeler doesn't really do it justice. It is a piece of art that looks terrific leaving it out on the kitchen surface, where it will always be within reach when you need it. Single cast solid steel, tiny but heavy, durable. Lovely design, it is super cute. Seeing the item makes you think it is of Italian design, and right you are. We call ours Antonio.A little warning though:Antonio is tiny and will be easily lost. Be mindful when using it and don't chuck it with your peelings! Losing this little guy is sure to break your heart.

Great quality, stands up on its base and is great to use. We have bought plastic equivalents and they always seem to get thrown away with the peel at some point or another. This is heavy enough for this not to happen. It is expensive but a great product.

This is a great little peeler, it fits in your hand and is sharp, its better than the Tupperware ones as it will remain sharp. My only reservation is it cuts too deep, so when you peel the orange peel back it tears the flesh... Having said that I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt and assumed I'll become more skilled with it the more I use it.If you are pondering "shall I buy it?" I'd say yes, because its so cool and none of your friends will have one!

Easy to use this was a replacement as I had lost my first one

Having lost several plastic orange peelers, Bought this as a Xmas gift. It is well designed and works very well. As others have said, it is sharp, so is best cleaned with a brush.

This is a tiny tool that comes in a lovely presentation box quite heavy for the size of it definitely would not recommend to buy this very overpriced though the quality is amazing at the end of the day it’s a miniature tool

I purchased this because I liked the way it looked. What a nice surprise to find that it works and I have found it to be an invaluable tool for dealing with my morning orange.

Sieht chic aus, nimmt nicht viel Platz weg, ein idealer Handschmeichler, die Apfelsinen werden damit bestens geschält ohne die Fingernägel beim Pellen zu beschädigen, unkaputtbar.Der Preis ist heftig, aber für die Freude, die man damit hat, ist es das wert.Ich bin froh, dass ich es habe.

Me encanta el diseño, pero creí que era más grande.Es minúsculo, aunque tal vez sea para poder manejarlo bien.Los productos de Alessi me fascinan.
