FLORAL LIGHTWEIGHT FOLDING WALKING STICK BLACK OR RED

Bought this for my mother who is under 5ft tall. It was too long for mum even on lowest setting but easily sorted by sliding off the foot, cutting off a couple of inches with junior hacksaw and pushing foot back on. Now it's perfect height. Mum was amazed at how lightweight it was but still felt sturdy and secure. Very simple to fold, just pull it apart at joins and fold over and wrap loop handle round so it doesn't try to jump back together. To expand, release the sections and it almost does it on it's own. It will fit neatly into a standard handbag (or front pocket of a laptop bag etc). Colours are pretty snazzy too, mum thinks it looks modern and not like an 'old folks' stick.At the price it is fantastic value and I can see me having to order a spare for mum, she will never want to go back to her 'old folks' stick. Will probably get asked to order for her friends as well (glad there are different colours to choose from)

Great walking stick, right size for me

This is fabulous value for money & looks really cool. The only little niggle is do.etimes one of the connections loosens itself & you have to pop it back together. You can't lose any parts because they're all joined together by elastic.

Beautiful design

Lovely design, had many compliments on it. Great for my requirements. Sturdy and lightweight, folds neatly away in hand bag when not needed.

Good lightweight stick for occasional use only . I need a more sturdy one for everyday use

Bought this for my Mum. Although she has a health service issued walking stick, she doesn't use it, coming up with endless excuses! I thought the fact that this one is not only pretty but very practical in that it can be folded down and placed in a bag if required. So far she hasn't actually used it but we are coming close at this stage and I intend to put it in my car next time we go out to give it a go! It is easily assembled and folded down and feels sturdy with a comfortably shaped handle.

As a 29 year old, my options for mobility without looking 80 (no offence, you ladies have lived!) are very very limited.I bought this after really falling into a funk about barely leaving the house to be honest (amazon makes everything TOO easy almost!) and it's really helped! I suffer from fibromyalgia and chronic pain issues and noone really talks to you, especially at my age, about how to make life easier rather than taking more painkillers and struggling to do it as if you were 16 again.So I sucked up the social stigma and decorated it. My personal style is not floral in the slightest but this made a fantastic base to work from. I bought some awesome multicoloured leopard print Duct-Tape and wrapped it around, cutting the tape just before the metal connection bits. It looks amazing if I may say so myself. I feel more comfortable using a stick that fits my style.I also highly recommend using Sugru on the handle, after my first use I found it too angular and a bit large for my tiny hands, so i moulded some of the silicone (its like blu-tack in texture and sets overnight) into lumps where my hand fits. Its so much easier to use. It's still a bit tall for me, (I was 4'5" but last medical check had me at 4') but that's easily fixed by sawing a little off the bottom by removing the stopper again. Apparently the top of the handle should sit just under the heel of your palm when your shoulder is relaxed with your arm to the side. It should be used more as a banister would be, for assistance rather than to hold your weight (thats a great way to shift your spine and hips out of whack though!).It fits into my handbag for the good days just incase I push myself too far. You do need a bit of strength to get it back apart, and the wrist strap is virtually pointless. But, like I said, with a limited amount of options at my fingertips, It's great for customising and making it your own.
