Having taught MYP Mathematics for nine years I have seen many resources. This book is the perfect partner for teaching inquiry based Mathematics. The structure of each chapter will instil confidence on any Mathematics teacher who has a fear of inquiry but also give excellent new ideas to the more confident. The examples are up-to-date and offer a modern take on many uses of Mathematics using relevant Global Contexts. Pues muy bonito,buen diseño y estructura pero al final te cansa un poco tanto colorín y ta ti bocadillo. Y además no lo he mirado a fondo pero tiene unos cuantos fallos, en los ejercicios, podían haberlo revisado mejor. En fin un poco decepcionante

I read this book as the parent of an MYP Mathematics student. It proved to be an invaluable resource and support. I soon found myself invigorated and motivated to work through the chapters and further my own Mathematics learning. I experienced many 'eureka' moments! Mathematics for the MYP 4&5 is an effective combination of clear explanation, varied problem-solving strategies and age-appropriate examples of real-life applications of the concepts covered. It encourages reflection, inquiry, metacognitive thinking and application to real-world situations. I highly recommend this book.

Must have for MYP4 and 5 IB students

It seems to be all over the place, but it has great projects.
