Great fun for a 2 year old
Ideal for my 2 year old grandson. He can switch it on and off, reverse and forwards, and put it on the track. He enjoys adding trucks. We have found it can pull quite a few. It is robust enough to withstand his handling. It runs well on a smooth kitchen floor as well as the track and goes just fast enough so he can enjoy watching it. It does eat up the batteries, especially if it runs into a corner somewhere and you don’t notice for a while!

Quality product!
Grandson was really pleased with this. Not the fastest though but really nice!

Excellent train, battery life not so good
My grandson loves this train, played with it all christmas day. Only downside was battery life. We bought durcell batteries and by the end of christmas day we was on battery number 4. I would recommend buying rechargeable

Lots of fun with a few flaws
It's a great train set. Well built, and lots of fun for kids but had two issues. Not sure they are with all of the trains or just the one I received.. The front wheels were slightly bend making it run off the track occasionally. It also move very slow forward but quickly backwards which doesn't make sense.

Very good quality worthwhile purchase!
My 2 and a half year old loves this battery operated train engine. Lots of fun to attach other carriages that he had from other sets on to it. It's especially good that it goes in reverse too. Can climb up a bridge in the forward motion. The only downside is the battery goes flat relatively quickly. All in all - brilliant purchase.

Moves slowly, goes through batteries quickly
This goes through batteries so quickly - I have to replace them pretty much every week. I wouldn’t get this if I had my time again.
