We’ve got a Bernese Mountain Dog and wash him regularly thanks to his thick double coat. This shampoo lathers quickly, spreads easily and rinses clean, so we use less per bath than with other brands. The fragrance is stronger (in a good way) and actually lingers, so he stays fresher for longer. After trying loads of alternatives, this has been the best value for money we’ve found: gentle on his skin, leaves his coat soft and shiny, and the bottle lasts ages. Highly recommend—especially for large, double-coated dogs.

Second purchase of baby fresh shampoo. I had bought the smaller bottle and was so impressed bought the 4l Gorgeous baby powder scent. Not too overpowering and the scent lingers for the full day. I use this daily to clean my dogs paws and spot clean. I have not used for a full dog bath as yet. The shampoo is a thick pink liquid that foams well. Not much is needed to create an effective a bubbly spot clean bath so I would imagine it would be very effective in cleaning a dog in a full bath/shower. I suppose at plus £30 this is quite an expensive purchase for dog shampoo, I do think though it’s value for money given the quality and effectiveness of the product .

I’ve bought this product a few times now. It cleans my muddy pup very well and it smells lovely. Foams nicely and is gentle on my dog’s coat and skin.

I’ve been using this Baby Fresh shampoo on my dog, and it’s made bath time so much nicer. The baby powder fragrance is soft and comforting, leaving his coat smelling fresh without being too strong. I love how gentle the formula is — it cleans thoroughly but doesn’t irritate his skin, which is important since he can be sensitive. His fur feels silky and looks shiny after each wash, and the soothing scent lingers just enough to make cuddles even sweeter. It’s become a regular part of our grooming routine, and I feel good knowing I’m using something safe and calming for him.

It's a lovely shampoo for my cavapoo with curly coat. Lathers easily and with soft fur and smells like a little baby. This is my second order, the first one lasted almost 3 years. Highly recommend this product and excellent value for money.

Intro: ______ I purchased this for my Yorkshire Terrier. Those that know this particular breed doesn't have typical “Fur”; in fact, it’s very similar to human hair with no undercoat. They are generally high maintenance when it comes to grooming to keep their hair in top condition. As you can see in the attached image, he’s not your typical show dog Yorkie. I prefer to keep him short as this helps with keeping him cleaner for an extended time and free from tangles, and making maintenance a little easier while bathing and drying. I try and have him professionally groomed at least every eight weeks, but due to lockdown, our trusted mobile groomer has been unable to come to our home to do so. When he’s groomed and bathed, he fills the house with the scent of baby powder or similarly scented. I have asked which shampoo she used. To be pointed into the direction of this brand, surprisingly, I have used other products by them without really thinking much, in the form of their colognes which are also pleasantly scented. As our little one loves to visit the beach, he gets covered in sand, both dry and wet, loves to dip his paws into the water or roll around in all sorts. He easily gets dirty and quickly. Pro: ______ * There's no need to dilute, and this is something I hate with other shampoos as you need to get the exact ratio for it to be effective in cleansing. My previous “professional” shampoo was £20+, required dilution and lasting just over two months as I needed to use twice the amount to lather or do what shampoo is supposed to do so that it could’ve lasted another two months, not exactly wallet-friendly. Now lathering isn’t a sign of shampoo being any better, but it does help give better distribution of the product and see any areas that need attention. * The pleasant fresh scent seems to hang around a few days after bathing, and the aroma fills the home without being overpowering, although you get a whiff of it when he’s nearby. * My Yorkie has sensitive skin, which seems to react to most shampoos, except baby shampoo. These are gentle on the skin and hair but ineffective at removing stubborn dirt graduals. Excess oil and other debris, granted they’re not generally for pets use. Even though this particular shampoo has a strong perfume scent which is usually a trigger for most dogs, it doesn’t interfere with his skin or causes an adverse reaction which his skin can be prone to experiencing. * A conditioner isn’t required. It doesn’t dry out the hair nor the delicate skin underneath. Since the groomers and myself have been using it, there has been no flakey irritated skin or dandruff insight. Con: ______ * Unfortunately, no pump supplied, and after scouring Amazon, I couldn't find one suitable, particularly for a 5L bottle of this size. However, I have purchased a separate refillable 500ml shampoo pump action bottle for a few pounds and a funnel to use alongside to top-up when required. I’m surprised this wasn’t thought of before, as pouring the bottle isn’t optional or user friendly, using far more product than needed. I wouldn’t mind if they sold this separately then used it across all their larger sized bottles for ease of use and convenience. Conclusion: ______ Overall I no issue recommending this shampoo. It keeps the coat smelling clean as though just freshly bathed, leaves the hair silky whilst giving a non-greasy natural shine and free from excessive oil without stripping too much, ultimately leaving the hair and skin dry. Purchasing the larger sized bottle isn’t as convenient to use, but it’s more value for money, saving just over £14 compared to the 1L option alone as long as you can find an alternative bottle to dispense. Due to its massive volume and very little product needed as it lathers nicely and works well, this will easily last a year if not more with bathing biweekly or weekly if required for £20 you cannot complain really.
