Great coaster kit for the younger children to make, with help.
Please see photosThese mats / coasters are ideal for younger children, with help, to make.We have enjoyed making these coasters. You do need to stick a layer of cork onto them. That was easy enough to align. That gives them some grip on surfaces, as well as thickness.The pictures look wonderful and all the gems supplied are adequate in numbers and well shaped.The pen is typically basic, but it does what is needed. The gel is sufficient.The holder for all the coasters, once made, is functional but nothing special.As always the fun with diamond art is in the making, and these are fun to do.Only one issue worth noting, this applies to many diamond art sets. You will be left wit ha sticky coaster due to how the adhesion is applied to the coaster and not just to areas of the coaster needing gems. That means crumbs and dust will build up on its surface over time and it will look a mess.So, we either do one of two things to help with this...Sprinkle some glitter over the finished coaster, and them shake off the excess.Apply a coat or two of spray varnish, this also seals the gems better on the surface.Which either one you try just use something like a rolling pin to press and roll on your finished coaster. This helps to press the gems further onto it to aid with adhesion.Excellent kit and well worth the moneyRecommended.

Fun to do and practical
These are fantastic.My mum loves diamond art but running out of space to put them so bought these as they are also practical.She enjoyed doing them and now they have pride of place on the coffee table
