I paid just £42.99 for this just before Christmas 2022 and I felt it was well priced compared to other similar rigs. It was purchased for my daughter, a budding filmmaker who wanted a rig to keep her camera more steady while filming. The rig is supplied in two boxes with a couple of instruction leaflets showing how it goes together. They're hardly needed as it's fairly straightforward. She's 16 and had it assembled in minutes on Christmas morning.All the parts are well made and good quality. The rods can be stiff when trying to move them through their holes, but I guess it's better that way than having everything loose.The only change I made to the setup was to flip the bracket that adjusts the lense shroud height. As supplied the thumbscrew is on the inside, and depending on how you have it adjusted, it can be tricky to get your fingers in to release/tighten it. If you flip the bracket so the thumbscrew is on the outside, it's always easily accessible.

Mixed reviews but I took a chance and it’s worth every penny! - I do much on the go video shoots for DJ’s and this comes in handy when I need my dslr for on the go movement shots. Instructions are brilliant and you can have this set up within 2 minutes.Only thing I would add- the bolts become used and worn so if you purchase this be aware that they do tighten when you play with it don’t think it’s broken.The guards clip on and off very Sensitive which for some people might be an issue but for me fantastic for on the go. Definitely worth its money!

I was pleasantly surprised when I took it out of the box, it looks very well made, all parts are metal and well machined. Time of course will tell how the screw fittings last. They have to be firmly tightened to carry the weight of my Canon 5dMK2 camera +light +mic, and I've only used it for three days so far, but on this experience the rig looks like it will last, and its certainly going to be worth the money. One thing to be aware of though, with a stills camera on it there is no camera handle so its tempting to put it down when not shooting, BUT , be careful how you set it down. With only three points of contact on the ground (tow handles and the shoulder pad) , and the camera weight off to one side, it will overbalance. Not a nice sight , watching your kit keel over and almost falling off the bench I put it down on. My own fix for this was to attach a small bike stand to the shoulder pad rod, which can be pushed out of the way when on the shoulder, and flicked out when you put it down to make a more stable platform. Adds a little to the weight but is safer. All in all though its a good buy, and will make your handheld shots much smoother. I've also tried it out with a Sony HDV camcorder and again it works well.

This was bought to allow us to have greater control over our camera when walking and panning with the camera, the end result is much better than using just your hands, and having the shoulder rest does help. But the build quality is not the best, the shutters at the front do not have the best adjustment and the frame is not the most stable. But for the price, it is a great add on for any camera. It is able to accommodate a range of camera sizes, with microphones on top too.

A very well made product, everything you need to look pro whilst filming your blog. I love the detail the anodised parts which feel more expensive than it is - the barn doors are less expensive but do the job, I'll see how long they last if I use them much. The only complaint is the grips are very hard.. I'm sure in very bad weather I may be grateful but they could be more comfortable soft plastic.

Brilliant product! Really happy with it I film small Hall boxing and ringwalks so perfect for stabilising the camera. Great value for money too.

Overall happy with the product but one of the screws doesnt tighten at all im sure this is just a once off and i was unfortunite to get it but still a little disappointing luckily the product still works but if the screw on the oposite side was to go part of the product wouldnt be functional. Other than that it seems good

For this price it's an absolute bargain in my opinion. Takes minimal time to put together and seems really strong. Very happy with the purchase. One thing that could possibly have been added to the set is some felt donuts for the lens hole in the French flag box. But for £55 you can't really have any negatives at all. Great buy.

I use it all the time, with my a6400, as well as used it during a few shoots with our song FX3. The shots came out incredible with no hassle and didn't have to worry about hand jitters, it's sturdy and well built.Deff well worth the money, especially for how cheap it is against the competition.

Very useful rig, stable yet mobile. Easy to assemble and adjust when needed.

I ordered it after reading good reviews. Upon opening, I found that the piece had been used already and it had usage wear and tear on the product. Since it was listed as new and unused, I should have got a new item and not a used one with scratches.As of the quality of the product, it seems that you get what you pay for. It is not the best quality of materials used, but it is well worth the price. I have not used it with my camera, since I was already disappointed with the product sent being a used one. I will definitely order it again, although from a different seller this time.
