Biard Black Traditional Outdoor Wall Lantern Light with PIR Motion Sensor - E27 Fitting

Poor value for money. No instructions on the settings, it doesn’t light up soon enough

Having twice previously purchased similar lanterns from well known DIY chain, that didn't last a year. I decided to buy this one that comes with a 3 year guarantee. Easy to install and so far has been reliable. I used a normal 60w bulb that I had, as the lantern doesn't come with a bulb. Early days, but I recommend it.Update. Two years later, the lamp is still working fine and still looks good. Changed the bulb last winter. still very pleased with it.

We’re to start.The PIR can’t be repositioned.The light housing needed to be tightened to the fixture plate.The housing is it the best fit to the fixing plate. Easy ingress for rainwater.Worst of all, the unit doesn’t work!

Product arrived as specified timewise and was relatively easy to install as it replaced an older light. When first installed it "saw" me from about 20 feet away which was great but only came on for 15 seconds so I altered the time to up it a bit it then changed its mind and now only "sees" me from about 6 feet which is not good. However it is a good looking lamp with bright light from a 60w bulb. Update 15th Jan. I reread the blurb on Amazon which refers to the "three dials" you can adjust mine only has two !. It still varies from day to day as to how far away it "sees" me but I'm not sending it back. It did not have a fixing kit either i.e. screws and plugs but no matter. FURHER UPDATE 30/1 now only sees me from 4 feet away not a good buy at all, do not understand it !.

I bought this as a replacement for an existing light. Quality good it works fine. The only problems are1) the bolts to fit it to the back plate are too short. I had to reuse ones off the old lamp.2) no mention of or instructions on how to customise the pir using the two small dials on the bottom of the pir unit3)black coating scrapes off easily revealing bright metal

Great supplies when I opened the box smart appearance and not to heavy and a fair price had a problem which I created but a phone call to the company and was sorted not only a great product and price a great service

Bought 2 around 5 years ago and had no issues at all. Solid and sturdy, changed bulb once.Wish all the light from these days to be same quality as this one

Item seems to be good quality, the twist dials at the bottom are easy to use and set for darkness and length it stays on for etc.Can't comment on installation as i got my electrician to do it, but they had it installed within about 10 minutes with no problems

Qualité bof, ne fonctionne pas, plastiques, le détecteur ne tient pas, branchement encore avec domino, donc je déconseille vraiment car nul.
