I have pretty thin and weak hair, which tends to get quite shiny as the day goes on. This makes styling it a bit of a problem.But I've been using this hair dust for about 5-10 years now, and that's because it basically nullifies the above. If you give a good few puffs of dust onto the hair and style it, you'll get pretty good hold (nothing that holds back a good wind) and a matte appearance almost immediately. To this end, it's better than gel (shiny appearance) and clay (difficult to style often, and doesn't seem to hold its shape for as long as this dust does).I'm not totally sure about the long term health risk with breathing in the excess dust though...Anyway, worth it. Probably.

Perfect, although the density consistency was different the two times I purchased it. An equally great alternative is VO5 Matt Clay at around £4 for the same size.

I have dark hair so results may be different to lighter hair folks. Few hours on my hair started to look shiny rather than natural stealth matt. Different days, different weather, different environment but same shiny result. Not for me.

Only need a small bit of product in my thick hair. Doesn't split into white bits or anything like that, and leaves hair reworkable. My hair is thin above my temples, and slightly behind the front of my hair, and unlike nearly all other products this makes my hair look thicker, and doesn't clump hair making it look sparse. Great product. Only problem is when you go to get your hair cut, it's a bit of a nightmare for the barber. Also product is 95% removed by having a shower and shampoo, but not everything seems to come out with one was, although having a tiny tiny bit in the day after is sometimes good to keep the shape of hair. Washed out of my hands with a bit of soap and water. I wear contacts which get upset when I've previously used putty/fibre type stuff iff because the product can fall into your eyes, but that doest happen with this.

Good wax, has a strong smell which is ok if you like caramel.Is matte as advertised, if you don't like having shiny hair.
