A great cheap alternative

easy to fit just ensure all electric turn off at oven

Our Neff oven was struggling to achieve the set temperature and cooking times had greatly increased. After ensuring power to the cooker was switched off, I removed the screws holding on the rear oven liner and lifted it out to reveal the element which had a large hole burnt through it. Testing for resistance with a multimeter confirmed that the original element had failed to open circuit. The wiring pulls through the back of the oven just enough to disconnect the element and it takes care to do this without damaging the cables or connectors. I ordered this product after checking it was compatible with the cooker model and it arrived quickly. The product matched the original perfectly so was straightforward to install by reversing the removal process. The quality appears good and the element works well. Our oven is working as it should again for £10 which is great!

Only reason for not giving 5 stars was that the packaging was poor and one of the "spade" connectors was bent but easily rectified. Element was a straight replacement for the failed item and fitted perfectly. Works as expected and great value for money

Great replacement element, easy 15 min install from inside the oven. Before starting turn the cooker off at the fuse box and cooker switch, undo the four screws holing covering the fan element at the back of the cooker. From there the element can be unscrewed and replaced. Looking back this is the 4th element we have purchased, they last 5 to 6 years and for this price, they are good value

I looked up a fitting guide on Youtube but it was very very simple to replace this from a burnt out older item. Has now been in use for around 3 weeks and cooker is working as well as ever Given the low price I will probably purchase another just to hold as a spare incase I ever need to fit another one and cannot wait. Only point of note is to fit you will need the proper Torx driver to remove/fit the fitting screws update 28 March 2018 - Just as a quick update this is still working fine and my cooker is used at least once every day Further update 12 October 2018 - As a further update cooker still be used everyday for a few hours and this is still installed and working fine. Been my bargain of the last year for sure

Prompt delivery and well packed. A few hints&tips below. Before you start ***Make sure power to the oven is off*** Fitting was easy in our Neff oven but you will need a Torx screwdriver to remove the 4 oven backplate screws that cover the element, they were very tight in our oven. If you don't have any, Torx drivers are available via Amazon, order them while ordering your element. Once removed there were 3 Torx screws holding the element in place. The element supply cables simply unclip. Take care to replace them correctly on the replacement element. Also, take care not to let the cables slide down behind the oven while they are disconnected. Replace the backplate before testing...the element needs an airflow from the fan to keep its temperature within limits. Job took me about 15 minutes.

Good price and good replacement product. Easy to replace by removing oven racks and rear cover. Then remove the one mounting screw on the mounting bracket on the heating element and remove the 2 screws at the element connection end. Remove one wire at a time and refit from the old element to the new element to ensure the wires are placed in the correct position.
