Colour Shaper2 Double Ended Pastel Blender

Like this item but found the sponge tip for blending, didn't last very long, even when blending gently.

Brilliant but sponge fell off quite soon after using. However, really good. I think I just got a late Fri afternoon batch. Lol

I've painted & drawn for more than 40 years now and have used every conceivable piece of equipment in that time, this is one of the least 'fit for purpose' items I've purchased. At £6 it is seriously over-priced. The sponge tip fell apart in less than a minute of (careful) use and as a pastel blending tool the silicon tips are hopeless.Do yourselves a favour and buy something else with your money.This is without a doubt one of those occasions where I now kick myself for not having read the customer reviews before buying...

Found this really poor. The softer end just crumbled whilst using so wasn’t that nice.

This is such a useful tool for soft pastels. It spreads the pastels, allows you to draw fine detail. Best of all maybe it’s so easy to clean, just flick it back and forth on a bit of rag, your hand or in my case my trousers and it’s ready to go. A truly necessary tool.

Giving it a 3. The rubber tip is useful. However, the spongy end needs to be used with caution as it crushes the tooth if the paper making layering impossible. Also, after a couple of uses it has started to rip and I was very gentle with it.

This was a present for a family member who is delighted with it.

Very clever double ended tool. colour shaper and spongy blender. The colourshaper is silicone so nothing sticks to it, you can even lay down masking fluid with it and save your brushes.
