I've bought it for iMac late 2010 under max. available MacOS Sierra Version 10.12-6 as a last resort for connecting a keyboard.Manual is clear and describes all steps precisely.I've replaced the system BT with this one successfully.

My iMac was losing connectivity to both it's magic mouse and apple wireless keyboard, quite a common problem apparently, and this has solved the issue entirely. Fairly easy to install, watch the video carefully, and then it worked perfectly.

Did not work on Mac

Bought this to use with a proxmox mac vm. Passed it through via usb and it works perfectly. Recommended

So as the BLUETOOTH on my iMAC hasn't worked for years, this was one solution recommended by APPLE / MACWORLD & other people. Not many BLUETOOTH adapters work for MAC's - but this one does.It didn't work despite numerous attempts, following their website for instructions, search engine workarounds etc. Then you find out that this doesn't work for many iMAC, MACBOOK people as well.Hence the three stars.

It work but unfortunately my Mac Didn’t

So far have been unable to make the device work on either my iMAC or my MAC Book laptop. Though I am still in touch with HIDEEZ technical department who have given me a second set of things to try. But so far my experience of the device is bad and possibly the device is faulty
