Sweeeeet!
This BARELY BARELY fit my older b365m pro4 board with an Intel i5-9400. It too me a while to figure out the right orientation for some reason. It's cold in my basement still but it's keeping it at 23C idle. And about 40C on full load. Even in the 2u chassis.Great price. Runs very quiet. Installation and mounting was very quick all in all, put backplate on, put standoffs on, put the 2 brackets on and tighten them up with nuts. Paste the cpu and screw on the cooler.Instructions are a little lacking but all needed info IS there. My NAS is rockin' now!

Fits great, Fairly Quiet, Works Well
Bought this a while ago and after almost a year of daily use it's still working perfectly and quiet and keeping my cpu cool. Noise is a big concern for me so for me to get temps at the max of 70c playing something like cyberpunk cranked to max in a tiny ITX case like mine, it's satisfying that it's only audible if I lean in close, and then I'm hearing my other fans.

idle temps in the 20’s Hello
BUT when isee end user YouTube videos of this thing actually cooling more so than Liquid cooling systems, i Had to Have it for my next build, need to buy two more for family members systems just to do it.. The numbers don’t lie, this thing can keep your CPU cooler, much cooler..UPDATE- Grandson’s gets Poppi’s old system rebuilt into a new case..Intel 6600k underneath this is55 cooler, and the video reviews on uTube were correct, it does outperform liquid cooling.. if it’s installed correctly that is 👍idle temps in the mid 20’s and full load stress never tops 51-53°C no matter what we throw at it.. must have Low profile Ram or at max 33mm to hang heatsink over memory, we didn’t so over the caps on motherboard it went, and that didn’t work with the case fan so we swapped is55 fan for 25mm case fan, done.. actually looks good and performs great, notice HDD on display back wall, nice touch..

good heatsink, fan gets loud
seems like a good heatsink for its size, but the fan could be higher quality as it is quite loud.

Excellent Product, But
This works quite well, but it's time for me to vent. As I was reading the instructions, it states to remove the 15 mm fan for the AMD CPU and use the long screws to secure the 25 mm fan. My question is what? I looked in the box and the parts I scattered around, there was no 25 mm fan, the longer screws were there but no larger fan. Lucky for me I had purchased a 120 x 25 mm fan, a box of three about a couple of weeks earlier, from the same manufacture ID, and only used two of them. So I grabbed the fan I didn't use earlier and installed it. The IS-15 cooler works well and is extremely quiet, with my larger ID fan, that was not included. The smaller included fan was to be used for Intel CPU. I looked over the Amazon Description, there was no mentioned of requiring a different fan for AMD, which is not included in the box. It just states a 120 x 15 mm fan. I have a similar grip with the manufacture, I purchased another ID cooler, which I will review soon. ID's Products are good, but their communication is poor.

Fits My Dell Optiplex 7060
I bought a refurbished Dell Optiplex 7060 SFF tower with an Intel i7 8700 cpu. I pulled the OEM Dell Cooler and replaced the thermal paste, but HW Monitor consistently showed it hitting 100C with Cenebench testing. After much searching, YouTubing, etc I settled on the ID Cooling IS-55. I was still concerned that it wouldn't fit my setup. Thankfully it fits like a dream, clears the RAM and dropped the max temp down to 85C with intensive testing. I'm not a big gamer, so this should do the job well. I pulled up a YT video, ran a DVD, and itunes music while running some other software and core temps stayed under 45C, so it's all good.

You can’t beat the price for performance on this low profile cpu cooler!
Got this to cool my 7800x3d in my Fractal Terra case to pair it with my 4090fe. What a beast of a cpu for its size and you can’t beat it for $40. The fan does get pretty audible at max rpm’s (granted, the way my fractal Terra is configured, it has the is55 pushed up against the panel), but rarely does it hit those speeds. I wanted to try and swap out the fan for an arctic p12 slim and scythe kaze slim 120, but the former didn’t fit because the screws that came with the installation kit isn’t long enough and the latter gave out this unpleasant noise profile. Nevertheless, even at my 7800x3d stock settings, the is55 is able to cool it with my bios’ standard fan curve settings, without throttling, and WZ3 gaming at 4k/144hz, it never went above 75c. I adjusted my pbo to -20 for all cores and set it to 65w eco mode and it brought the temps down to 60c. So either way, is55 is able to hold its own. The is55 was super easy to install too! AM5 socket install was a breeze and I was even able to secure everything without having to unscrew the fan off.

Noise coming from fan motor after a week
This was highly rated for cooling, however you need it to work in order for it to do that.Installed and everything was fine for about a week until it started making a noise in the fan. Triple checked if it was secured(it was) and narrowed it down to the motor in the fan. It makes an extremely loud humming vibration sound coming from the inside of the motor.I was going to just leave it in but the sound slowly was getting louder to the point where I even had my headset on and could still hear it.Just decided to use the fan that came with the cpu.Installation: 3/5 easy but screws are in very strange place.Screw quality: 4/5 basic screws nothing special.Quality: 1/5 fan motor had terrible noise.Size: 4/5 fit as expected.Look: 4/5 looks fine.
