Good value, low tack tape
I got this for use with my Cricut to stick craft board/acrylic etc to the cutting mat. It is good value and sticks well, and does not damage the project during removal.

It will do.
Dont press the tape down firmly, only press the near side edge that you want to prevent paint going under. Otherwise the tape will stick too hard. It is not as good as Frog tape but...... it will do very well.
