The battery charger is defective.
The battery charger that came with mine is defective. I tried to charge the battery pack and it did not take long for the red and green lights to begin blinking. I also purchased a cordless drill with similar charger and battery pack. I switched the battery pack from the saw to the charger for the drill and it charged as it should. This tells me that the battery charger with the saw is defective.I have not used the saw yet until I hear from the company, thinking that I may have to return the entire product. I hope not because the boxes that it shipped in have been picked up by the garbage truck.I am not sure how much value the battery charger composes of the total price but I paid for it and it does not function properly. A replacement is in order.

Worked like a charm for an outdoor project!
This is a valuable "new" tool for my work chest. I used for an outdoor solar panel project, cut a variety of materials from wood to porous cement block... Worked like a charm and made the set soooo easy!
