Epic!
Having enjoyed season 1, I was excited for The Flash season 2. I felt the season was stronger overall and not just because there weren’t multiple episodes featuring a giant talking gorilla (only one, to be precise). The characters – all of them – developed as they faced darker challenges than any they had faced before. After saving his mother, Barry opens up a rift between worlds and discovers a speedster called Zoom terrorising another Earth. Discovering they each have a doppelganger on this second Earth reawakens old feelings – Harrison Wells is alive and well, and has absolutely nothing to do with Barry’s past. The true fight comes in the form of the metahumans that Zoom sends through the breach to kill Barry. Then Zoom himself.Barry develops as a character as he becomes more grounded in what it is he needs to do. It is the other characters, however, that are really given the chance to grow. Cisco embraces powers of his own and Kaitlyn discovers what she is capable of in the face of devastating loss time and time again. Joe is given the chance to be a true father and Iris becomes a true part of the team despite her own loss. The progression of the characters was required in order for the season to get darker. The threats are more real this time around, partly because the characters must all face their own demons if they are going to be the heroes they believe they are. There were a few episodes that involved the Arrow team. Considering I love Arrow, this made me excited. I did find, however, that it contained spoilers. Not having yet seen the final series of Arrow (released around the same time as Flash), meant there were a few things given away. The pace felt faster this time, although that could be because we didn’t need as much backstory worked into the episodes as series 1. With a clear villain from the start – Zoom – the audience were given the chance to hate him, whereas the uncertainty about the man in yellow in season 1 denied us that opportunity.Stronger characters, darker plots and tension running high as relationships developed. The Flash season 2 was a rollercoaster – and a good one at that!

Wasn't at all disappointed
Great end to a great series, just a bit sad that there won't be anoher, or for that matter a spin off.

A great ensemble piece
The DC comics universe release dates need working on. I watched Supergirl when it released and therefore got a view of what happens in the Flash. Not a big deal, but kind of spoiled events. I used to like Arrow, but after season 2 it's looking a bit tired. The Flash is my new benchmark. It's humorous, it has a big heart and as much superhero action as you could want in 42 minutes. The season 1 set a high benchmark, this season mostly matches it, but there are consistency issues. Where season 1 had little in the way of filler the need to bring in Legends of Tomorrow and Arrow made the season drag in parts. The downbeat start is a good beginning looking at the fallout from the season 1 finale. Last time is was a villain of the week formula, now they've inherited the Arrow's big bad with Zoom. Not sure if I'm overjoyed with this as the one off villains give greater variety of challenges. So glad Harrison Wells returns, Tom Cavanagh is just great without being a bowling alley lawyer. But it's not a one man show and the whole cast got moments to shine. Really this is the direction the DC TV universe needs to be looking for its future.

Ok i suppose
One of the best tv series out there. Bit ridiculous in some areas, but i don't watch superhero tv shows for the reality. The issue i have is that some of the new support actresses are not that great, and the story line is kind of the same as the previous series. The main problem, if you are like me and buy the series when it comes out, is that you have to buy arrow as well, and try and watch arrow and the flash together, working out when to alternate between the series. Good idea but when you're changing discs all the time and trying to follow whats going on, gets a bit annoying.worth a watch tho and still a good series

Great Again, One Villain is a small problem
I loved series 1 and 2 takes it a step further, the characters are all great and the story lines engaging.I think the DC TV series' are starting to suffer from lone villain syndrome, by which I mean that there may be distractions but the whole 22 episode series (minus the crossover episode) is focussed around only one villain (Zoom) and at times (especially around episode 15-18) the story can feel a little protracted. In my eyes this series is much better than Arrow Season 4 and marginally better than Flash Season 1. Not as good as Arrow Season 2 though (still the best in the DC TV Multiverse).

STREAKED BY
It's an excellent second series full of adventure, action and emotion which didn't last long enough, though the time-jump at the end makes you want to grab the Flash and give him a good kicking for the infantile choice. And if that doesn't make you ache to see what he does, I don't know what will. I'm hungering for Flash 3 to see if ... Ah, but that would give too much away.Mythic Blood: The Milesian (revised)Pixels: The Cause and the Cloud CuckooPaladin of Tarrthála

Digital download code has issue
The series is very good but the digital download code that was in my box was meant to be redeemed in the UK, not in the US. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a new code that was meant for the UK again. Tried several times to redeem the code but was forced to give up on that. If the item's description mentioned that the digital download code was only meant to be redeemed for UK viewers, I wouldn't have purchased.

Poor customer service
There was no evident information stating that this item needed a special out of country dvd player. There is not information regarding this on the case. The seller would not let me return the item for a refund because the shrink wrap had been removed. Not very happy with customer service or lack of information.
