Artistic Wire Beadalon 15-Yards Stainless Steel 22-Gauge

I actually only bought this as an afterthought to avoid paying postage on another item that was under £10 and p&p would have cost me almost as much as the wire. And I would definitely buy it on purpose next time as it's excellent quality. It's a perfect blend of strength and malleability. The packaging is excellent with a plastic guard that stops the wire unraveling everywhere (and that can be used as the core of a bangle with a bit of creativity when the wire is used up). And most importantly for me as someone who is allergic to most wire, including sterling silver which I send black in a matter of hours, it's solid stainless steel rather than a coated copper core, so hypoallergenic and tarnish free. I agree with the other review that recommends using memory wire cutters, or in my case a cheap old pair of DIY pliers, to avoid ruining your good snips as it's that bit more resilient than copper coated wire. Also the delivery time was fantastic - ordered on late afternoon of 28th and arrived on 31st.

The wire itself is good quality, but it is not 18 gauge/1mm as described. It is in fact 22 gauge/0.64mm as shown in the picture. So be careful if you need the thicker wire, as I did!

Could someone tell me wich kind of wire I should get in stainless steel colored wire to wrap, for my connectors? This one is a bit too hard for this purpose. The silver coloured one I also purchased in the same brand and gage is more maleable for this purpose. Thank you.

I love this stuff, I've been using and wearing it for about a year and I'm about to order my third roll. I use it to make jewelry and other craft projects, it's more stiff than sterling silver but waaaaay cheaper and it doesn't wear through or tarnish like plated wire. The stiffness makes it pretty difficult to do wrapped endings so I typically make eye pin-style connections instead, but this is strong enough that it doesn't really need to be wrapped. The color is slightly different than silver so I ended up getting stainless steel clasps as well to match, which are also sturdier than most of the sterling or plated clasps I've used.Like one of the other reviewer's pictures there was another label put on over the original one, but I suspect the original label just needed to be corrected; I received the correct gauge (22) on both of my orders, and it sure seems like good stainless steel to me. Zero tarnishing or discoloration even on jewelry I wear a lot (and directly against my skin).This wire is sturdy, fun to work with, and the finished pieces look great. I'm hooked!

I bought this wire for my work on trees of life and it was exactly what I wanted. Easy to use as wire wrap and weave, easy to bead with, great storage reel where it has a plastic cover that goes over it to stop the wire from unspooling.I've had it a while now, has not tarnished on the spool nor in projects. I would definitely buy again, and from this seller.
