This style lighter is awesome. Love that it's rechargeable, it holds a charge for a long time and it lights candles easily. The on/off switch is great for increased safety. Feels solidly constructed. I call it my magic wand.

Easy to use

This works great for candles and other things with a single small lighting point, but it isn't going to cut it for a pipe or anything like that. It also emits a very loud high pitched noise, similar to tinnitus, when it's lit (which is to be expected, but some people may not know). Battery life has been pretty good, I've only charged it twice since buying it and it's regularly used for candles.

Great gift item

One of the two lighters immediately showed an issue when I noticed it was rattling and the component near the electric arc slightly loose. The arc activated, but makes me nervous to keep using it.

Product came delivered fully charged. Not positive on number of candle lights I get out of it before it needs recharging... but it is plenty of them. Recharging is relatively fast and it came with 2 cables for charging (one for each starter). One for at home, one in the RV.
