Q: Does it work well on carpet?

I bought this for my 1year old grandson. He uses it every day now, it works well on carpet and hard floor.

Q: When do you know if your child has out grown the size? As I’m not sure if my daughter is now to big?

My grand daughter is 2 1/2 yrs tall for her age & has now out grown the tricycle. Hope this helps

There weren't any spare parts with the bike I bought, either you have accidentally received some spares during the packing process or the bike hasn't been put together properly. I would suggest you look at the instructions again and make sure the bike is built correctly so it is safe for your little one.
