Fellowes AutoMax 100MA 100-Sheet Micro-Cut Autofeed 2-in-1 Paper Shredder for Office/Small Office

I have had this auto feed Fellowes shredder about a week now and so far, I am happy with its performance. I love the idea that you can stack up to 100 sheets in the auto feeder and let it go. I have a big shredding project so that was a feature that attracted me. My experience to date is that the auto feeder works well but I have found that it will jam if your papers are stapled. So, keep that in mind. However, you can shred stapled paper via the manual feed. I got this shredder to replace an older Fellowes home business shredder that we had for 17 years. So, I am hoping this new model is as well built and will last as long ---but only time will tell. I can say this shredder definitely runs quieter than our old shredder. The bin is a good size and because of the micro-cut you can shred quite a bit before needs to be emptied.

So far so good. I had ordered another one that quit after a few shreds. This one was more expensive than the first one but so far so good. It has not jammed and seems to work well. It seems more durable and shreds plenty fast. I have had no problems with any paper I shred. I have had it a couple of months now and tax time will require plenty of shredding of extra papers.

This shredder is nice, but not quite what I expected. It tends to overheat easily when heavily used and takes quite some time to cool down to a usable temperature again. It does a good job and the larger bin is useful if shredding a large number of documents

Totally works as intended. Exceeds expectations. My parents are prolific shredders. Not just old tax records or financial documents, but really anything they print, peruse, and then discard.

Took me a LONG spell to compare, consider and buy a mulit-page shredder. Looked at reviews, reutns, and complaints and settled on the Fellowes. Can it do 100 pages, possibly! I loaded it with 70-80 pages and works like a champ. Since the purchase (today = 11/10/2025) has operated flawlessly! Smaller unit than my old one but this works! And with multipage shredding, does what my older unit that finally failed after 12 years couldn't.

So far fairly happy given the price I paid for it . Wish it had a "head" that was removable to be placed over large trash can with trash bag in it, or larger shredded container in the 14 to 15 gallon size !

Struggles to shred anything over 5 sheets of typical bill/letter weight paper. Disappointing. Will have to do. Surprised, considering the price. Paper feeder for larger quantities works ok, but requires monitoring as the sheets start to go askew as it works through them. Bummer. No manual included. Searching for download link.

This fellowes paper shredder replaced an old office max shredder. It is a nice machine, small on size and has a small bucket. I wish the bucket was larger especially for this price point. The auto feed works ok if your stack is normal 8x11 sheets of paper. If not manual feed is the way to go. Nice unit, very thin plastic and small bucket, but I am happy with the performance so far.
