I love black nail polish but the only issue it’s the worse colour when it chips because it so obvious on your hands. I have used this brand for a long time and the coverage was great and the colour was perfect but even with the top coat that I brought it did chip quickly it may be a me problem as I’m always using my hands but I do love it.

I really like this Essie nail polish in Licorice, but it does have its limitations. Full disclosure, the first night I wore it, I was in a rush, and I only applied it in a single layer, with no base coat or top coat. It was very easy to apply, and the brush was good enough to do the 3 stroke application. It dried quickly, and looked good with a touch of gloss, but it chipped slightly before I even got to the venue. I removed it the next morning and it was tricky to remove, as the nail polish remover just seemed to move it around the nail, even though I used my tried and tested method of a cotton wool pad soaked in remover placed over the nail, press down for a few seconds, and then slide away, taking the polish with it. It took three tries per nail to remove most of the single layer of polish, and it did stain my nails to a greyish colour, but I can't complain about that, as it was my choice not to use a base coat, and the staining disappeared after a normal day of hand washing and washing up. The second time I used it, I used both base and top coat, which did give it a high level of shine. It chipped by day 2, and it was so bad by day 3 that I had to remove it. Again, it was tricky to remove, and there was some faint staining. That said, I would buy it again, knowing that I could only wear it for a night out, or a couple of days. I really like the depth of black, and for me, it’s worth that extra bit of hassle.

Polish quality is great from Essie as always, consistent salon quality polish, always lasts and looks great. The colour however for this one.. defo serving me grey, not pale green vibe.. gorgeous still, nice grey look, but not green tone at all imo.

Essie is one of my all time favourite brands and Liquorice my shade and i am not disappointed, the colour glides on smoothly and evenly without streaking. The colour is very strong and covers well without any patchy areas and looks amazing. Day 4 and the edges are just starting to chip but it still looks really good. Well worth the money.

Absolutely love it..I got the 'Licorice 88' and it dried quickly after a base coat and two coats of it and it shimmers even without a top coats. Had it on 3 days now with no chipping. I just add a bit on tips as that thins with bathing and doing the dishes ofcourse.

Convaincue depuis des années par la qualité des produits Essie, ce vernis se pose facilement, sèche rapidement. J'ai ajouté une couche de top coat de la marque également afin d'optimiser la résistance au temps. Cela fait 10 jours que j'ai posé mon vernis et il est toujours impeccable.

Ich bin sehr glücklich. Nach dem ich etliche andere Marken durchprobiert habe freue ich mich in "Essie" endlich den Nagellack gefunden zu haben der es bleiben wird. - Der Nagellack deckt wirklich sehr gut und ich musste kein zweites Mal auftragen. Absoluter Pluspunkt! - Er trocknet auch wirklich super schnell was der zweite Pluspunkt ist. - Und im Haltbarkeitstest schneidet er bei mir auch gut ab. Ich arbeite sehr viel an der Tastatur und dafür hält er auch wirklich gut. Alles in allem werde ich mir nie wieder einen anderen Nagellack kaufen da ich hier endlich fündig geworden bin. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Para lo claro que es el color con dos capas consifues un efecto opaco y uniforme, lo pedi el domingo y llego hoy martes, muy rapido y muy bien de precio para ser Essie, la verda muy contnta, recomiendo!
