Regal Freestanding Electric Fireplace Stove - 3-D Log and Fire Effect (Red)

This is the perfect addition to our guest room! The style is perfect; the shape isn’t too big or bulky yet still stands out with it curved design and details. I love how the flames can be seen from the sides and front. The heat output allows for various degrees in a range from low to high heating up the room rather quickly and keeping it consistent for duration of use! Super easy to assemble and lightweight. It took me about 5 minutes from start to finish (including opening the box)! I’ve received many compliments on the look as well as the performance of this fireplace. The only negative is that it does not come with a remote which would be helpful for guests to not have to get out of bed. However, that lack in feature is overshadowed by the list of positives. I was especially impressed by how quiet the fireplace is even when working at full heat. Absolutely love it!

I was really excited for this fireplace. I saw some negative reviews but quite a few positive ones. What sold me was another buyers photo with the piece in an existing mantle, which was what I wanted it for as well.I was so disappointed when it arrived. It was in a perfectly in tact box and very well packaged in styrofoam. When we removed the styrofoam, the door was completely broken off at the hinges and the plastic at each hinge was cracked further into the sides. Also, the legs were really beat up and scratched and scuffed.I don't consider this I be a piece of great quality. It's cheap plastic. It did look pretty when we turned it on and gave off a good amount of heat. I will re order because we got amazon gift cards for the sole purpose of ordering this fireplace because we wanted one for our mantle. Sice we can't rerun the gift cards we'll hope the next one the send is perfect.Oh and when I was looking for our shipping label to remove so I could put the return label on, I found the too of an old shipping label which makes it clear this was someone else's return before we got it.

this littler e-flame heater is too cute!I love the look of wood burning stoves but I live in a rental and cannot own a real stove, which brings me to why I purchased this heater. I bought this based on the round appearance. This little guy adds great character to my master suite! I love to sit in front of this heater....to read, or take a nap, I leave it on at night because it is comforting....it has a faint fire crackle sound, but also has a more prominent huuummmm.....which cheapens the effect, but I find the hum soothing.The plastic looks great! I love the mesh cage and I like how The "On" "Off" knobs are hidden behind the cage door, so it does not interfere with the look of the heater. You can adjust the knobs for dim-bright light and temperature adjustments. The heat kicks on and off on its own. The flames are not super realistic, but it's good enough for me. The mesh cage helps to hide the fakey flame.The heat comes out the bottom which is great for warming feet or for laying on the floor next to. The heater vent is also hidden under the body of the heater which I like so it does not interfere with the appearance of this little heater.Over all, This is a very good looking heater!Also, it started out with a slight smell, the smell fades after a few days. You need to screw on the legs because they do not come attached. I really was upset about the price! $199!!!! For such a small heater. I hope you buy it for a better deal than I did!

This is a great space heater for the price point. It works well with an adjustable heat dial and adjustable “flame.”There are some cons to this that should be considered, unlike some other heaters, the heating element is below the heater. This is not great with animals and toys, I have to check each time before turning it on as tennis balls will roll under it. If you have vaulted ceilings, this e-flame doesn’t seem to have enough power to warm the room.We bought two different heaters from two different companies, and the other seems to heat better with the heater on top. That being said, our Chihuahua loves the heater on the bottom, he’ll plop next to it to warm himself.

Where to start...I honestly do like this fireplace but there are so many issues with it I am keeping all the packaging with the expectation I will have to send it back. First, the unit itself seems NOT to be a "new 2014" model as stated in the ad. It is scratched in places and was very dirty, indicating to me that it maybe was a return...who knows. Second, it wobbles, no matter what I try to fix it. The legs went on easy enough and it seemed sturdy. I have placed it on a perfectly level surface and one leg is just shorter. It is a very light unit and seems it would tip over if bumped by one of the kids. Third, the door doesn't stay shut, the top magnet doesn't stick and again, no matter what I try to fix this it doesn't seem to matter. Where the magnet is supposed to hold onto the unit it's all scratched up and just doesn't hold at all. So the door hangs open at the top. Not cool at all. And last of all the useless remote...what can I say. It doesn't work. I took out the little plastic thing and nothing, it did nothing. Assuming the battery was dead (again another indication that this unit is an OLD one, not a new model) I put a new battery in and still nothing. I'm following the booklet instructions, having the unit turned on at the switch and the remote just does not work. Is it even supposed to work by remote? I can't even find the IR connection between the remote and the unit, don't know what I'm supposed to be aiming it at. Silly. Anyhow, for now I am keeping it where it is to see how it works out. I am upset that for this $$ something is of such poor quality. To be fair, I do love the effect and looks of this little fireplace but I honestly expected better quality. But then we do when we spend our hard earned money don't we? For $200 I hoped this would last for a few years. At this point, only 2 days into ownership, I am thinking I'll be lucky if it lasts through this winter season...just not good enough in my opinion.
