UPDATE: It seemed that putting the oil in my vegan capsules was helping to prevent irritation of the esophagus, but then I resumed coughing everyday throughout the day due to a constant feeling of irritation. It seems that the tiniest amount of oil that got onto the outside of the capsules was enough to cause this problem, even when swallowed with water plus drinking water after swallowing the capsule. I suggest that if you have any sensitivity to oregano oil that you might want to buy the oregano oil that comes in extra thick capsules.This is a potent oregano oil, the first I've tried without capsules. Because it is in olive oil it can be used topically as is, but be careful not to use it on especially sensitive areas.For ingestion, the directions say to put about 5 drops in "a little water" - how much is a little? The problem is that oil and water don't mix, so the water barely (if at all) helps to protect the esophagus. In fact if I take the oil with water only (even a lot of water) my esophagus is so irritated all day that I cough all day long. So I put the 5 drops into an empty vegan capsule followed by water to prevent the irritation (and possible tissue damage) of the esophagus. I have to be very careful not to drip any oil onto the outside of the capsule. Also I don't fill more than 1 capsule at a time because the thin capsules will melt from the liquids.I already had a half gallon mason jar filled with empty vegan capsules for various herbs/powders, so it was no problem. Vegan capsules are not expensive, but capsules filled with oregano oil are expensive compared to buying the oil itself.

My only possible complaint would be that the cap screws back on too tight if you're not careful. Make sure you don't seal it too tight that you can't reopen it, if you're not too strong or have weak joints. The formula itself is great. If you're used to the smell and taste of intense oregano oil/herb like I am, you'll find this great. I wouldn't say it relaxes, if anything, in my experience, oregano can act as a natural stimulant. It's very thick and potent, only use one or two drops at a time, and always diluted. But works very well. Keeps one healthy, I believe.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My gut is thankful for it. I had some constipation and this will send you to the bathroom. The best thing I purchased in a while besides the liquid sea moss. Grateful 🥲

This oregano oil is strong but effective! I add a few drops to water when I feel a cold coming on definitely helps with immunity. Love that it’s organic, vegan, and gluten-free. The taste is intense, but worth it. A great natural health boost!

The smell is very strong and the oil is very concentrated, I loved to use a one drop of this oily into my water to feel it full and not eating too much the size is perfect and the dropper has a great quality the color is yellow.

This product is a staple in my home apothecary as it helps with infections—-including ear, skin, and respite ray symptoms. One caveat; this product shuld only be used for 7-10 days, and no more. Like with conventional antibiotics, one’s body will need time to recover from use. Especially, your gut health. With this in mind, it’s a staple in my home apothecary.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I put this on my kids feet sometimes chest depending how sick they are and they start to feel better in no time. Love this!

its very strong u must mix with water a full glass even then it still sorta burned my throat. i lost my sense of smell and i smelled this a few times a day and got it back, this is very potent and a good product
